摘要： A kneaded rubber for expandable formulation, such as a material for die forming. The polymer components in the kneaded rubber principally comprise a polymer alloy, further comprising a sea phase of a ethylene/&agr;-olefin/non-olefin/non-conjugated polyene terpolymer rubber and an island phase of a polyolefin resin. The polyolefin resin wholly or largely comprises a monomer C4-C6 &agr;-olefin and has an MFR of at least 15 g/10 min at 190° C. under a load of 2.196 kgf according to ASTMD 1238. The kneaded rubber satisfies the following Mooney viscosity profile formula according to JIS K 6300: (ML1+480° C.)−(ML1+4160° C.)≧15.

摘要： A formed rubber extruded product which is formed of a vulcanizate of a rubber blend comprising a sulfur-vulcanizable ethylene-propylene-type rubber (EPDM) as a starting rubber and a pyrolytic foaming agent. The vulcanizate has a specific gravity of from 0.9 to 1.0 and a surface roughness (RZD) of 14 micrometers or less. The rubber blend contains the pyrolytic foaming agent in the form of an inorganic powder-supported foaming agent. A particle diameter of the inorganic powder in the inorganic powder-supported foaming agent is approximately 9 micrometers or less, and a particle diameter of the pyrolytic foaming agent is approximately 8 micrometers or less. Further, crystalline PE is contained in an amount of from 6 to 30 parts per 100 parts of EPDM. The foamed rubber extruded product of the present invention can be produced by the extrusion at a high rate.

摘要： A foamed rubber blend comprising an EPDM is polymer blend comprising at least one high molecular weight component and at least one low molecular weight component is provided. The high molecular weight component has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) in a range of from about 400,000 to about 800,000 and a molecular weight distribution index (Mw/Mn) in a range of from about 5.5 to about 9.5. The low molecular weight component has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) in a range of from about 150,000 to about 500,000 and a molecular weight distribution index (Mw/Mn) in a range of from about 1.5 to about 5.5. The EPDM rubber has an overall weight average molecular weight (Mw) in a range of from about 200,000 to about 700,000. The ratio of the polymer blend in the foamed rubber blend is in a range of from about 33 wt % to about 60 wt %. The present invention is also directed to an article formed from a sulfur-vulcanized EPDM rubber blend having a compression set according to JIS K 6301 of not more than about 24%.

摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a method of reclaiming crosslinked rubber wherein a reduction of qualities due to generation of decomposed products hardly occurs, and a molding of reclaimed rubber. In a reclamation step of reclaiming crosslinked rubber 10 by applying shear stress thereto and/or in a subsequent step in the present invention, a degasification carrier is introduced and decomposed products in the crosslinked rubber 10 are removed together with the degasification carrier. Also the disclosed is a molding of reclaimed rubber prepared by re-crosslinking reclaimed rubber obtained by this method.

摘要： The present invention provides a rubber composition containing a reclaimed rubber and a method for producing the same. A rubber molded article having excellent rubber properties can be obtained and the recycling of a used rubber product can be promoted by the present invention. A rubber composition of the present invention is a blend comprising a claimed rubber obtained by applying a heat and a shear stress to a vulcanized rubber, a non-vulcanized virgin rubber or/and a thermoplastic resin, wherein the reclaimed rubber contains 40% by weight or more of a residual toluene-insoluble gel component and the network chain density of the rubber in the gel component is 1/20 to 1/4 based on the network chain density of the rubber of the vulcanized rubber.
