Generally, the principle of operation of a hoist is based on the cable being driven by adherence of the cable to the drum of the hoist. A hoist is described according to an embodiment of the present invention. The hoist comprises a drum, a plurality of guides, a guide support and a biasing device for displacing a portion of a cable away from the guide when the drum is rotationally displaced to thereby hoist a load.

摘要： An anchoring assembly comprises a stud with an external elongate surface carrying a screw thread, and a through tunnel fabricated on the stud intersecting and perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the stud; a construct comprising an eyelet enclosing an opening and a pair of holder members extending out from the eyelet; a nut having a sidewall defining an internally threaded passage, the nut carrying a pair of axially aligned and radially extending through holes on the sidewall, the through holes being adjustable to align with the through tunnel forming a continuous passage thereof; and a pivot pin fillable into the passage across the through holes and the through tunnel to lock the nut to the stud. The eyelet is configured to be rotatable around the longitudinal axis of the stud and the locked nut impedes the construct to move along longitudinal axis of the stud.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a height accessible working platform. The disclosed working platform generally comprises a frame attachable to a lifting system for being moveable along the vertical axis and suspended thereto; a cradle; a first arm structure having a proximal end terminated to the frame and an distal end attached to the cradle, the first arm structure being extendable and retractable to displace the cradle respectively away from and closer towards one of lateral sides of the frame along a first axis substantially perpendicular to the vertical axis; and a counterweight mechanism mounting at one lateral side of the frame opposing to the cradle, the counterweight mechanism being configured to balance the working platform corresponding to displacement of the cradle along the first axis.
