摘要： A process for making densified kaolin clay pellets of high bulk density, good handling and bulk flow properties, and low moisture content is disclosed. The process consists essentially of mixing substantially dry kaolin clay with water to bring the total moisture content of the finely divided kaolin clay to from about 17% to about 26% by weight based on the weight of said dry kaolin clay during mixing in a first pin mixer, followed by micropulverization, and subsequent pelletization by pin mixing. The pellets are dried to 1% or less moisture content by weight based on the weight of dry kaolin clay.

摘要： A process for producing ultrafine ground calcium carbonate is disclosed in which a dry feed stone is slurried to a 15 to 60% by weight solids slurry and dispersed with an organic dispersant. The dispersed slurry is fed to an attrition mill where it is bead ground to 50-70% less than 2 microns. The ground calcium carbonate is classified in a centrifuge into a product stream having from 70-99% of its particles less than 2 microns and an underflow stream of larger particles. The product stream is treated with ozone which serves not only to increase the brightness of the product but to return the slurry to a non-dispersed state. The calcium carbonate slurry is then dewatered to produce a 58-69% solids product suitable for preparing a higher solids slurry or for spray drying.

摘要： Certain events occurring throughout a microprocessor chip are monitored by a counter system (1) containing a number of digital electronic counters (3, 5, 7 & 9) consolidated at a single location on the processor chip. Those events are communicated to the counter system via electrical leads extending to those functional units in the processor responsible for signaling an event occurrence. Under program control, each counter can be selectively connected (11, 13, 15 & 17) to a selected one of the various functional event producing units. By means of selection logic (19, 21, 23 & 25) separate events originating from multiple functional units may be logically combined, whereby the event counted is a Boolean logic combination of multiple underlying events.
