摘要： A method and assembly for protecting a device connected to a wiring harness is disclosed. The assembly includes a protective shield having a bore for receiving the device and a positioning device. An elongated wiring harness extends from the device being protected and through the bore of the protective shield. The positioning device is formed having a band that surrounds a central space. At least one flexible, resilient finger extends radially inwardly from the band into the central space. At least one of the fingers forcibly engages the harness sleeve to maintain the positioning device and the protective shield in a predetermined protection position along the harness sleeve at least partially surrounding the device being protected.

The sleeve has an outer layer constructed at least in part from a first warp yarn extending along a length direction of the sleeve and a weft yarn extending transversely to the length direction. The sleeve further includes an inner layer constructed at least in part from a second warp yarn extending along the length direction and a weft yarn extending transversely to the length direction, with the second warp yarn being a different type of yarn than the first warp yarn. The outer layer and inner layer are connected to one another by interlinking the weft yarn of the outer layer with at least some of the second warp yarns of the inner layer and by interlinking the weft yarn of the inner layer with at least some of the first warp yarns of the outer layer.

摘要： Two acoustical wall panels are secured together back-to-back to form an acoustical wall baffle installable perpendicularly to a wall of an office space in abutting relationship to the wall, ceiling, and floor. Each of the wall panels includes a fibrous glass board mounted in an extruded aluminum frame and covered on the front and edges with a decorative fabric. Each frame includes a rear mounting foot strip for spacing a wall panel from a wall and enabling the wall panel to be hung by the top frame member on concealed brackets, and a rear groove for anchoring the fabric covering by a rubber or plastic cord. The two wall panels are clipped together at the mounting foot strips of the frames by generally U-shaped metal or plastic strips. On the exposed vertical front edge of the wall baffle, a decorative trim strip is inserted between the two wall panels at the fabric anchoring grooves. The wall baffles are mounted by sliding them onto T-shaped mounting strips adhered to the ceiling and floor.

The sleeve includes an elongate non-woven wall having opposite sides extending along a longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The sides are self-wrapping about the longitudinal axis to provide a tubular cavity. The sides are extendable away from one another under an externally applied force to expose the cavity for insertion of the elongate members, wherein the sides return to their self-wrapped configuration upon removal of the externally applied force. The wall includes discrete first regions of a material and discrete second regions of a material. The first and second regions of material are different and provide the wall with non-uniform physical properties.
