摘要： A multi-step tube (1) of a ceramic material comprises a tube body (1) of the ceramic material having an inner wall (11) located inside the tube body (1). A surface of the inner wall (11) is formed with a plurality of steps (2). The steps (2) are formed to extend differently far inside the tube (1). A multi-layered gas discharge tube comprises the multi-step tube (1). An inner electrode (31) is disposed on a step (21), and an outer electrode (41) is disposed on an outer surface (13) of the tube body (1). A disc (51) is partially placed on a step (22) and the inner electrode (31) between the inner electrode (31) and the outer electrode (41) so that, in case of an electrostatic discharge, the discharge will only take place in the center of the multi-step tube (1) and not at the border of the isolated ceramic disc (51).

摘要： A dynamic load balancing system is described that determines the load of resources in a hosted environment dynamically by monitoring the usage of resources by each customer and determines the number of customers hosted by a server based on the actual resources used. The system receives a performance threshold that indicates when a server is too heavily loaded and monitors the resource usage by each customer. When the load of an overloaded server in the hosted environment exceeds the received performance threshold, the system selects a source customer currently hosted by the overloaded server to move to another server.

摘要： Example embodiments relate to a keyboard-based system that enables a user to provide touch input via the keyboard with one hand and typed input via the keyboard with the other hand. In example embodiments, a sensor detects the user's hands on the top surface of the keyboard. In response, a computing device identifies a first hand and a second hand by analyzing information provided by the sensor. The computing device then assigns the first hand to a touch mode and the second hand to a typing mode. The user may then provide touch input using a visualization of the first hand overlaid on a user interface, while providing typed input with the second hand via the keyboard.

摘要： A docking station is provided for a computing device. The docking station may be used by, for example, a mobile computing device, such as a cellular or wireless telephony/messaging device. The docking station includes a housing comprising a receiving surface top receive and retain the mobile computing device. An inductive signal transfer interface is included with the housing to inductively signal at least one of power or data to the mobile computing device. The docking station further provides an output component and processing resources. The processing resources are configured to detect placement of the mobile computing device on the receiving surface. The data is received from the mobile computing device, and an output is signaled to the output component based on the received data.
