    • An antilock brake device for vehicles having a sensor which senses a possibility of locking of a wheel, during braking of the wheel, by an overruning of a flywheel which generates a release signal. A hydraulic pump having a cam shaft rotated in association with the wheel generates hydraulic pressure for antilock control. A gear unit as a transmission for transmitting rotation of the wheel at an increased speed to the flywheel comprises an input member located within and connected to a hub of the wheel, a ring gear formed on the input member, a planetary gear meshed with the ring gear and a sun gear meshed with the planetary gear. The planetary gear is secured to a cam shaft supported on a stationary casing. The flywheel of the sensor disposed within the hub is connected to the gear unit through a drive shaft. The sensor is supported on an axle extending through the hub. The casing encasing therein the antilock controller is disposed at an open mouth of a hub recess, and the input member is provided so as to encircle the sensor. A transmission torque limiter is provided between the wheel and the sensor. The input member is connected to the hub by bolts extending through a hub wall from the side thereof opposite the side where the recess is positioned. One side wall of the casing is supported on one axial end of a cylinder shaft fitted on the axle, and the input member is rotatably supported on the other axial end of the cylindrical shaft. A coupling which assumes a connecting state when the shaft is fitted on the axle is provided between the input member and the wheel.

    • A front/rear interlocking brake system is provided wherein a hydraulic pressure is directly supplied through a lever hydraulic system and a circuit to front brakes. The front brake is provided with a secondary master cylinder for generating a hydraulic pressure due to a brake torque of the front brake. The secondary master cylinder is connected through a lever interlocking hydraulic system and a control valve to a rear brake. A hydraulic pressure is directly supplied from a primary master cylinder through a pedal hydraulic system to the rear brake. Accordingly, the front brakes and the rear brake can be interlockingly operated by operating the lever, and only the rear brake can be operated by operating the pedal.

    • The present invention provides a recording material utilizing a reaction between a colorless or light-colored dye precursor and a color developer capable of forming a color upon coming into contact with the dye precursor, the recording material being characterized in that the material comprises at least one compound serving as the dye precursor and represented by the formula (1), and an acidic substance serving as the color developer ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.6, p and q are defined in the specification. At least one selected from the group consisting of phenolic compounds of the formulae (10), (11) and (12) and phenolic resin having a partial structure of the formula (13) can be used, as required, to further improve the color forming properties and change the color of recorded images from reddish purple or purple to blue or dark blue.

    • A rear suspension system in a motorcycle having a body frame and a rear wheel. The rear suspension system comprises a rear wheel supporting member swingably pivoted at its front end to the body frame and pivotably supporting at its rear end the rear wheel, a damper pivoted to the body frame, and a progressive link mechanism having first and second pivot points pivoted to the damper and the rear wheel supporting member, respectively. The progressive link mechanism progressively transmits the movement of the second pivot point to the first pivot point, and is disposed substantially above the rear wheel supporting member. Auxiliary devices such as a muffler and a stand can be effectively disposed below the rear wheel supporting member and at the same time a required bank angle is attained.
