    • A biological information detection device has a device main body and a biological signal detection portion formed integrally with the device main body. The biological signal detection portion has at least one electrode for contacting a biological surface of a human body. A fixing portion has an elastic strap and is configured to mount the device main body and the biological signal detection portion to the human body without the device main body and the biological signal detection portion being directly attached to the elastic strap. The fixing portion covers the device main body and the biological signal detection portion with the electrode being disposed in contact with the biological surface of the human body when the device main body and the biological signal detection portion are mounted to the human body.

    • A main body holder has a base wall with a through-hole, a holding portion, and a pivotally attached clip piece. A stopper member is movably disposed within the base wall through-hole for movement between a restricting position and a releasing position. In the restricting position, the stopper member projects from the base wall and is configured to engage and securely hold the main body of a portable apparatus on the holding portion so that the apparatus main body is only partially disposed over the base wall through-hole in a state in which the apparatus main body is fully received by the holding portion. In the releasing position, the stopper member extends into the through-hole and does not project from the base wall so that the apparatus main body is allowed to be slid relative to the holding portion. An urging member urges the clip piece into contact with the holding portion and urges the stopper member to the restricting position.

    • To provide an apparatus main body holder of a portable apparatus having a simple constitution and a high reliability of holding an apparatus main body in a state of being mounted to a mounted object and in a state of not being mounted to the mounted object. An apparatus main body holder to and from which an apparatus main body of a pedometer is held insertably and detachably including a holder main body, a clip piece, a stopper member, and a torsional coil spring. The holder main body includes a base wall, and a holding portion provided on a surface side of the wall. The holding portion holds an apparatus main body insertably and detachably inserted thereto to slide along a surface of the base wall. The clip piece is pivotably attached to the holder main body. The stopper member is engageable and disengageable with and from the apparatus main body held by the holding portion and engaged with the apparatus main body to restrict the apparatus main body so as not to be drawn out from the holding portion in a direction reverse to the inserting direction. The clip piece is urged by the coil spring to be brought into contact with the holder main body. The stopper member is arranged at a position of being engaged with the apparatus main body by urging the stopper member by the coil spring.

    • A portable device, such as a wristwatch, has a push-button that includes an engaging portion, and the push-button is mounted on a watch sheath. A stopper is arranged on the watch sheath. A circular operating ring surrounds an hour plate mounted on the watch sheath and is rotatably mounted on the watch sheath from the front side thereof.
