    • A relay connector (10) for joining together two lengths of flat printed circuitry or flat flexible cable is formed from two connector housings (31) of identical shape. The two housings are joined together by a set of conductive terminals (41) and housing engagement members. The terminals are bilaterally symmetrical and have contact and engagement portions at their ends which are received in terminal-receiving grooves in the rear of the two housings. A pair of actuators (11) are rotatably mounted to the housings and they move in opposite directions to open and close.

    • A connector for joining together two lengths of FPC or FFC-type cable has a housing (31) and two FPC-cable-receiving slots (33) formed therein, on the same side of the housing. The slots are disposed in the housing on opposite sides of an axis of symmetry, and the slots each contain a plurality of conductive terminals (41). The terminals each have a fixed contact beam (43) spaced apart and aligned with a moveable contact beam (44). The contact beams flank each of the cable-receiving slots and are pressed into contact with contact portions of the FPC cable by actuators (11) that are moved in opposite directions. The actuators spread the contact beams apart in response to movement in one direction and urge them toward each other in the other direction.

    • A mobile terminal as well as a network connecting method and a network connecting apparatus thereof are disclosed in the present disclosure. The network connecting method comprises the following steps of: determining whether the network connecting mode is a dual-mode mode when the mobile terminal is connecting to a network; and if it is determined that the network connecting mode is the dual-mode mode, then setting the network connecting mode of the mobile terminal into a TD preference mode and connecting to the network. In the present disclosure, when the mobile phone is not in a 3G network or when the 3G signal is weak, the mobile phone that has been switched to a 2G network can re-initiate the network business without the need of firstly logging on the 3G network. This significantly reduces the network searching time, which is very convenient for the user.
