摘要： A production method for a lead-containing hot-galvanized chromated steel sheet with excellent resistance to blackening and white rust formation comprises: (a) plating a steel sheet in a hot-galvanizing bath containing 0.05-0.3 wt. % lead and 0.1-0.3 wt. % aluminum; (b) coating this with a chromating solution containing chromium (VI) ions, chromium (III) ions and nitrate ions in which the Cr(III)/Cr(VI) molar ratio is 1/9-1/1 and the nitrate ion to total chromium ion molar ratio is 0.1-1.6; and (c) without washing with water, drying the sheet at 40-250 deg. C., to form a 5-50 mg/m integral 2 (in terms of chromium) chromate film.

摘要： The invention relates to a thermosetting coating composition for precoated steel sheets which are required to have high hardness, good workability and stain resistance, to a precoated steel sheet having a film of the coating composition, and to a method for producing such precoated steel sheets. The coating composition for precoated steel sheets of the invention consists essentially of a polyol and contains a specific compound and a curing agent composed of polyisocyanate compounds added thereto, in which the curing agent is a mixture composed of a blocked polyisocyanate compound as obtained by blocking one or more polyisocyanate compounds selected from polyisocyanates of the following group (a) and their derivatives, and a blocked polyisocyanate compound as obtained by blocking one or more polyisocyanate compounds selected from polyisocyanates of the following group (b) and their derivatives:(a) 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, tolylene diisocyanate, xylylene diisocyanate, naphthalene-1,5-diisocyanate;(b) hexamethylene diisocyanate, trimethylhexamethylene diisocyanate, hydrogenated 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, hydrogenated tolylene diisocyanate, hydrogenated xylylene diisocyanate.The coating composition forms a coating film having good workability, high hardness and good stain resistance.

摘要： It is an object to provide a process for manufacturing galvannealed steel sheets exhibiting excellent anti-powdering property when press formed, and uniform frictional properties in a coil. A steel strip is galvanized in a bath having a low aluminum content after entering it at a high temperature as defined in relation to the aluminum content of the both, so that the formation of a .zeta. phase may be promoted. Then, the strip is heated for alloying in a high-frequency induction heating furnace so as to have a temperature not exceeding 495.degree. C. when leaving the furnace to yield a plated steel strip having a coating containing a uniformly distributed .zeta. phase. After such heat treatment and cooling, the strip can be plated with an iron or iron-alloy top coating having an iron content of at least 50% and a coating weight of at least 1 g/m.sup.2 to achieve an improved press formability.

摘要： An iron-zinc alloy electro-galvanized steel sheet having a plurality of iron-zinc alloy coatings, which comprises: at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer, formed on the surface of a steel sheet, and at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer, formed on the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer. The ratio of iron content to the coating weight of each of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer is within the range of from 1 to 15 wt. %, and the total coating weight of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer is within the range of from 1 to 50 g/m.sup.2 per side of the steel sheet. The ratio of iron content to the coating weight of each of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is over 15 wt. %, the ratio of iron content to the coating weight gradually increases from the innermost coating toward the outermost coating of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer, the difference in the ratio or iron content to the coating weight between two adjacent coatings of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 1 to 15 wt. %, and the total coating weight of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 1 to 40 g/m.sup.2 per side of the steel sheet. The difference in the ratio of iron content to the coating weight between the uppermost coating of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer and the lowermost coating of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 1 to 15 wt. %. The sum of the total coating weight of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer and the total coating weight of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 10 to 75 wt. % per side of the steel sheet.

摘要： A method for manufacturing an iron-zinc alloy plated steel sheet having two plating layers and excellent in electropaintability and press-formability, which comprises the steps of: passing a steel sheet through a zinc dip-plating bath to form a zinc dip-plating layer on at least one surface of the steel sheet; then, heating the steel sheet, on which the zinc dip-plating layer has been formed, to alloy the zinc dip-plating layer and the surface portion of the steel sheet, so as to form, on the surface thereof, an alloying-treated iron-zinc alloy dip-plating layer as a lower layer having a plating weight of from 30 to 120 g/m.sup.2 per surface of the steel sheet; then, passing the steel sheet through an acidic plating bath for 1 to 5 seconds without electrifying same to dissolve the surface portion of the alloying-treated iron-zinc alloy dip-plating layer, so as to form numerous fine jogs on the surface thereof; and then, electroplating the steel sheet in an iron alloy acidic electroplating bath to form an iron alloy electroplating layer as an upper layer, having a plating weight of 1 to 10 g/m.sup.2 per surface of the steel sheet, on the alloying-treated iron-zinc alloy dip-plating layer as the lower layer having the numerous fine jogs.
