摘要： A laminate is produced in which a long release sheet 2A, an adhesive layer 3A and a base material 4A are laminated together, and the base material 4A and the adhesive layer 3A are cut (half cut) so as not to penetrate through the release sheet 2A, so as to divide the base material 4A and the adhesive layer 3A into cover sheet portions 51A, bolstering portions 52A and a remainder portion 53A. The remainder portion 53A is then peeled off and removed, and an outer end portion of each of the bolstering portions 52A is half cut so as not to penetrate through the release sheet 2A, raised portions 6A being formed through the half cutting. The laminate sheet can be produced at low cost, and defects can be prevented from being formed on the adhesive sheet when the laminate sheet is wound into a roll.

A connecting apparatus 15 comprises a pay-out device 21, which is arranged so as to sequentially pay out web material M, which is wound on a first and second rolls 12 and 13, and a connecting device 22 that connects the portion at the tail end 12a (13a) side of the web material M from either one of the rolls 12 and 13 and the portion at the lead end 12b (13b) of the web material M from the other roll 12 (13). 摘要： Using a strip material carrying a film for forming a label to a base sheet, cuts are formed in the film at a by a cutting means while feeding the strip material, and film areas excluding labels are collected. The labels are left on the base sheet and, after being peeled off at a peeling means, the label is sucked and held by the label holding member. The label is subsequently transferred to a recording substrate at a laminating position and is laminated onto a recording substrate while being pressed by a press roller. The strip material is motivated by a motor. A dancer roller disposed between the cutting means and the peeling means removes slack in the strip material, and a motor controller controls the speed of the motor based on the sensed position of the dancer roller.
