    • A wire line data transmission scheme in a mobile communication system for reducing the wire line transmission const. Radio state qualities of a plurality of radio channels between the plurality of base stations and the mobile station are measured, and a validity and a redundancy in composition of each radio channel is judged according to the corresponding measured radio state quality. Then, a transmission in the wire line transmission paths is controlled by stopping a transmission of transmission signals for those radio channels which are judged as invalid or redundant according to the obtained judgement result. All of measuring, judging, and controlling can be carried out by each base station, or by the mobile station. Also, measuring and judging can be carried out by the mobile station while controlling is carried out by each base station, or measuring can be carried out by the mobile station while judging and controlling can be carried out by each base station.

    • In the method of handover control, when a mobile station recognizes that the mobile station has moved to an overlapping area, the mobile station notifies this fact to a network side and in response the network side sets up only a communication channel between a handover target base station and an exchange station for controlling that handover target base station, without setting up a radio channel between the handover target base station and the mobile station, while continuing the communication by not releasing the communication channel between the currently located base station and the exchange station and the radio channel between the currently located base station and the mobile station, so that it becomes possible to reduce a transmission control load for transmission between the base station and the exchange station as well as a control load for controlling the exchange station itself.

    • A disclosed user apparatus is for use in a mobile communication system including a macrocell and a closed cell wherein unspecified users are allowed to access the macrocell and specified users are allowed to access the closed cell. The user apparatus includes a measurement unit configured to measure quality of a signal provided from a camped cell in an idle state at a predefined cycle, a cell search unit configured to measure quality of a signal provided from a neighbor cell at a predefined cell search cycle, and a cell reselection unit configured to reselect a cell depending on the cell search result. A frequency of the macrocell is at least partially identical to a frequency of the closed cell. If the user apparatus resides in the macrocell and a predefined reselection criterion is satisfied, the closed cell adjacent to the camped cell is reselected as a standby cell. The predefined reselection criterion corresponds to a state where the quality of the signal provided from the closed cell has been higher than or equal to the quality of the signal provided from the camped cell by a predefined threshold for more than a predefined reselection duration.

    • A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes the steps: transmitting, from an exchange (MME) to a first radio base station (eNB), a location information reporting instruction which provides an instruction to report location information on a mobile station (UE); reporting, the first radio base station (eNB) to the exchange (MME), the location information on the mobile station (UE), in accordance with the location information reporting instruction; transmitting, the location information reporting instruction to a second radio base station (eNB), in a handover procedure of the mobile station (UE) from the first radio base station (eNB) to the second radio base station (eNB); and reporting, from the second radio base station (eNB) to the exchange (MME), the location information on the mobile station (UE), in accordance with the location information reporting instruction.
