摘要： Top surfaces and inclined surfaces of prisms on a side opposite to a light source are formed such that, in a region on a light source side, light traveling in a light guide body toward the side opposite to the light source is sequentially reflected by the top surfaces and the inclined surfaces of the side opposite to the light surface of the prisms and approaches a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the light guide body. The height of the prisms can be the lowest in the longitudinally central portion of the light guide body, and gradually increases toward the light source side and the side opposite to the light source, from the central portion.

摘要： A document scanning device includes a pair of light guides that extend in a main scanning direction of a document and illuminate the document, and a reference plate that is positioned closer to the light guides than the document. Each of the light guides has a first area that illuminates the document and a second area that illuminates the reference plate. Each light guide illuminates the reference plate over a wider area between the light guides in the second area than each light guide illuminates the document in the first area. Therefore, the center of the reference plate is illuminated and a sufficient amount of light is reflected on the reference plate.

摘要： An image formation apparatus comprises photosensitive drums for respectively forming toner images corresponding to specified colors of an original image, an intermediate transfer belt onto which the toner images are transferred from the photosensitive drums in superimposed relation to form a synthetic toner image, and transfer rollers each for pressing the intermediate transfer belt against the associated photosensitive drum. The photosensitive drum disposed more upstream in a direction of conveyance of the intermediate transfer belt has a lower speed. The intermediate transfer belt may be designed to move at a speed higher than those of the photosensitive drums. With this construction, a sag or dip of the intermediate transfer belt between any two adjacent photosensitive drums is eliminated, thereby preventing a color drift of the synthetic toner image.

摘要： The present invention provides an image display apparatus that inhibits deterioration of image quality caused by an increase in temperature of a laser light source apparatus.
