摘要： A manufacturing method for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes preparing a battery assembly, and performing an initial charging on the battery assembly. In the initial charging, a differential capacity curve of the battery assembly has a first peak voltage at which a first layer is formed on the electrode body and a second peak voltage at which a second layer is formed on the electrode body. The initial charging includes forming the first layer by stopping charging for a first stop time after charging to a first specified voltage that is set between the first peak voltage and the second peak voltage, and forming a second layer with charging performed to a second specified voltage that is set higher than the second peak voltage after forming the first layer.

摘要： Provided is a method for manufacturing a secondary battery that can ensure a favorable charging state. A method for manufacturing a secondary battery according to an embodiment of the invention is a method for manufacturing a secondary battery where a wound body having a positive electrode sheet, a separator and a negative electrode sheet wound in a layered state in a housing, which includes a first step of accommodating the wound body into the housing; and a second step of hot-pressing the wound body through the housing from outside of the housing, the wound body being accommodated in the housing. The method preferably includes a third step of performing initial charging, confining a part substantially the same as a part where the wound body is hot-pressed through the housing in the second step.

Each of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate has a collector plate and an active material layer containing an electrolytic solution, and the active material layer is formed in a predetermined width on a partial region of a collector plate. The separator is placed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate and contains an electrolytic solution. At least one of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, an edge of the active material layer in a width direction has a waveform. A set value Wn of the width of the active material layer and a variation ΔW of the width of the active material layer satisfy a condition of 0.03≦ΔW/Wn≦0.056.
