摘要： A cigarette making apparatus includes a cooling-water passage which allows a coolant to circulate along a flavoring-material supply path which connects an application nozzle for applying a flavoring material to a wrapping-paper web and a pump for supplying the flavoring material to the application nozzle, to thereby cool the flavoring material. A cooling unit controls the temperature of the coolant supplied to the cooling-water passage. Specifically, the cooling unit controls the temperature of the flavoring material by selectively activating a first control system for detecting the temperature of the coolant supplied to the cooling-water passage and controlling the temperature of the coolant, and a second control system for detecting the temperature of the flavoring material supplied to the application nozzle and controlling the temperature of the coolant. Since the temperature of the flavoring material is controlled to fix the viscosity thereof, the amount per unit area of the flavoring material applied to the wrapping-paper web is fixed only by controlling the drive of the pump depending on the rate of supply of the wrapping-paper web.

The pump control device divides the wrapping machine operating speed into a plurality of speed regions and determines an approximation pump characteristic which approximates a relationship between the pump driving speed and the rate of discharge of the flavoring material from the pump in each of the speed regions, in advance, and determines the speed at which the pump should be driven, depending on the wrapping machine operating speed, according to the approximation pump characteristic. Consequently, the flavoring material is applied to the wrapping-paper web in an appropriate amount depending on the wrapping machine operating speed.

摘要： A continuous multi-layer film includes a support layer having a first film surface, and a hard coat layer, formed on the support layer, having a second film surface, and having a curling tendency in an inward direction. In the decurling method, the multi-layer film is transported. A first transition of the support layer in the multi-layer film being transported into a rubber phase is induced by supplying fluid vapor on the support layer. After supplying the fluid vapor, a second transition of the support layer from the rubber phase into a glass phase is induced. The multi-layer film is transported while a portion of the support layer in the rubber phase is prevented from contacting a solid object. The hard coat layer is formed from a polymer produced from an ultraviolet curable compound, and the support layer is formed from cellulose acylate.

摘要： The present invention has for its object to provide a technique in which in an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine equipped with an exhaust gas purification apparatus that is constructed to include a catalyst having an oxidation function, the temperature of the catalyst is able to be raised in a quicker manner. In the present invention, when the catalyst is raised to its activation temperature, an exhaust gas flow rate control valve is controlled in a valve closing direction, and at the same time an intake air amount control valve is controlled in a valve opening direction. In addition, an engine discharged exhaust gas is raised in temperature by retarding fuel injection timing in the internal combustion engine.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to suppress NOx emissions while also suppressing an increase in unburned fuel emission and accidental fire in an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine that has a super charger and an EGR apparatus, when the internal combustion engine is in a transient operating state. In the present invention, a target charging pressure and a target EGR gas amount are calculated based on the operating state of the internal combustion engine. If the actual charging pressure has not reached the target charging pressure when the internal combustion is operating in a transient state, then the EGR gas amount is controlled to an amount smaller than the target EGR gas amount.
