摘要： A plant material assembly for separating cannabis plant material is provided having a plant material hopper configured to receive the cannabis plant material and feed the cannabis plant material to a plant material separator. The plant material separator is configured to separate undesirable plant material from desirable plant material by using a first roller, a second roller, and a third roller. The first roller and the second roller separating the cannabis plant material into the desirable plant material and the undesirable plant material by sending the desirable plant material in a first directional path and the undesirable plant material in a second directional path. Next, the third roller is used in relation to the first roller and the second roller, wherein the third roller redirects the undesirable plant material from the second directional path into a third directional path and finally into a catch depository.

摘要： A cigarette making apparatus comprises an application nozzle for applying a flavoring material to a wrapping-paper web supplied continuously to a wrapping machine, a pump for supplying the flavoring material to the application nozzle, and a pump control device for controlling the pump driving speed depending on the wrapping machine operating speed. The pump control device divides the wrapping machine operating speed into a plurality of speed regions and determines an approximation pump characteristic which approximates a relationship between the pump driving speed and the rate of discharge of the flavoring material from the pump in each of the speed regions, in advance, and determines the speed at which the pump should be driven, depending on the wrapping machine operating speed, according to the approximation pump characteristic. Consequently, the flavoring material is applied to the wrapping-paper web in an appropriate amount depending on the wrapping machine operating speed.

摘要： A growing tobacco stream is formed at the underside of a foraminous belt conveyor and is transported past two trimming devices to be converted into a rod-like filler which is thereupon draped into cigarette paper and severed to yield discrete plain cigarettes which are united with filter plugs to form filter cigarettes of unit length or double unit length. The resistance of successive identical sections of the filler to axial and/or transverse flow of air therethrough is monitored, and the resulting signals are used to adjust the second trimming device when the monitored resistance deviates from a desired value. The envelopes of filter plugs on successive filter cigarettes are perforated by a laser which is adjustable by signals denoting deviations of the mass of tobacco per unit length of the filler from a preselected value, deviations of the resistance of filter plugs to axial flow of air therethrough from a preselected value and/or deviations of the permeability of cigarette paper from a preselected value. This insures that the column of gaseous fluid which enters the mouth of a smoker contains a mixture of tobacco smoke and of a predetermined quantity of cool atmospheric air.
