摘要： The overall performance of water-reducible polymer dispersions, more specifically alkyd dispersions, can be substantially improved by utilizing resins derived from acidolysis reaction products of polyalkylene terephthalates and polyalkylene naphthalates. According to this invention, polymer dispersions can be produced from low acid value polymers and yet have good water dispersibility. When an aqueous coating composition is formulated using the dispersion of this invention, a final coating is formed that has good hydrolytic stability, and when blended with a latex, exhibits improved gloss and wet adhesion.

Also, a method for providing a high build, fast drying and fast hardening aqueous coating at ambient conditions is provided.

摘要： An exit sign for use in hazardous atmospheres including an explosion-proof housing and a sign panel with indicia thereon. The housing prevents the ignition of gas or vapor surrounding the enclosure due to sparks, flashes or an explosion of the gas or vapor within the enclosure by providing an ample heat sink surface along any flame path to cool gases escaping from the housing. The sign panel preferably includes one or more transparent sheets which are edge lit from a light source contained in the explosion-proof housing that shines through a window in the housing into the top edge of the sign panel to illuminate the face(s) and the indicia thereon. The light source utilizes a number of long life light emitting diodes. The exit sign preferably includes a sealed maintenance-fee rechargeable battery for powering the light source when externally supplied power to the exit sign is absent.

摘要： There is provided a pharmaceutical preservative free composition suitable for topical administration to an eye, the composition comprising (a) an oxazolidinone antimicrobial drug, for example linezolid, in a therapeutically or prophylactically effective drug concentration that is above the practical limit of solubility of the drug in a substantially isotonic aqueous solution at a physiologically compatible pH, and (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable cyclodextrin compound in a concentration sufficient to maintain the drug in solution at such a drug concentration. The composition is particularly useful for the treatment and/or prevention of eye infections due to gram positive bacteria.

The hand of the animated figure is movable from a retracted position in which the hand is positioned within the housing to an extended position in which the hand extends out of the housing through the opening in the housing. The hand moves from the retracted position to the extended position upon the animated figure being moved from its first position to its second position. The dispensing mechanism is designed to cause a piece of candy to be transferred from the reservoir in the housing to the hand of the animated figure so that the piece of candy is supported by the hand when it is in the extended position.
