摘要： A method of manufacturing a ship deck and a prefabricated ship deck element for manufacturing the ship deck. The ship deck comprises a surface layer with an exposed upper side, e.g. of teak, being supported upon a carcase existent in the ship and having a surface that has protruding irregularities. The prefabricated ship deck element comprises said surface layer and an underlying layer of cellular plastic, and is applied upon the carcase by attaching the free lower surface of the cellular plastic layer to the carcase, such that the irregularities occurring on the surface of the carcase sink into the cellular plastic and the exposed surface layer remains essentially unaffected by said irregularities. In this way, a great surface finish can easily be achieved, at the same time obtaining significant savings of weight, subduing of footsteps and thermal insulation.

摘要： Methods for detecting the condition of a catheter providing access to a patient's blood vessel are disclosed in which the blood is supplied to an extracorporeal blood flow circuit. The method includes generating a pressure wave on one side of one of the access points for supplying blood to the extracorporeal blood flow circuit or returning the blood to the patient, then sensing the pressure wave on the other side of the access points. Apparatus for detecting the condition of the catheter are also provided.

摘要： An industrial robot has a position controller for each one of the axes of the robot and a computer for control of the robot. The computer continuously determines, with the aid of a mathematical model set up in advance, in dependence on the robot configuration and load in question, the mass moment of inertia of the axes, the coupled mass moment of inertia, and the moment caused by gravity. From the relationships between acceleration/deceleration and the drive motor torque for the different axes, the maximum available acceleration/deceleration for the axis is determined while assuming that maximum motor torque prevails for each axis. For each axis this value is compared with the maximum acceleration/deceleration value that may be allowed from the point of view of stability. On the basis of the lower of these values, optimum gain is determined and set in the position controller and/or a path planning parameter.

摘要： A system for preparing a fluid intended for a medical procedure substantially at the time of use by mixing of at least one concentrate in powder form with water. The system includes a reservoir for a source of water, at least one vessel containing a concentrate in powder form and a concentrate fluid circuit for withdrawing a small quantity of water from the reservoir and passing same through the vessel containing the concentrate in powder form in order to dissolve the concentrate to produce a concentrate fluid, and for then conducting the concentrate fluid to a primary fluid circuit communicating with the reservoir so that the produced concentrate fluid is mixed with the rest of the water withdrawn from the reservoir. In a preferred embodiment, the vessel comprises a self-contained cartridge containing a quantity of concentrate in powder form therein which is suitable for one treatment procedure. The system is intended in particular for the preparation of fluids for use in connection with medical procedures such as hemodialysis, hemodiafiltration and hemofiltration. However, it may also be used for the preparation of fluids for other medical procedures or treatments as well.
