摘要： An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a photosensitive recording medium by exposing the photosensitive recording medium to light by way of a mask member which is placed on an exposure station. The apparatus comprises a first transport device which transports the mask member through the exposure station and a second transport device which transports the photosensitive recording medium through the exposure station. A first exposure unit irradiates light upon the photosensitive record medium by way of said mask member at the exposure station to record an image formed on the mask member on the photosensitive recording medium. Alternatively, when a mask member is not used, a second exposure unit directs light through an auxiliary member having a light-passing image thereon to project and record the light-passing image onto the photosensitive recording medium.

摘要： An image recording apparatus using a set of mask members and having mask position adjusting device. A transparent mask member supporting plate is provided at the exposure position. Each of the mask member is delivered upon the mask member supporting plate by two pairs of rollers. In this mask delivery, a mask image surface faces upwardly. An elongated photosensitive recording medium is positioned immediately above the mask member supporting plate so as to guide the medium at the exposure position. Further, an exposure device including a light source and color filters is positioned below the mask member supporting plate. The mask member undergoes positional adjustment at the exposure position. For this, the mask member supporting plate is supported on a positioning frame which is movable in a direction perpendicular to the mask member moving direction. The position of the mask member with respect to the running direction thereof is controllable by controlling rotations of two pairs of rollers, and the mask position with respect to its tranverse direction is controllable by controlling the movement of the positioning frame.

摘要： An image recording apparatus including a pattern forming device for forming a light-shielding pattern on one of opposite surfaces of a photosensitive recording medium. The light-shielding pattern is formed of a light-shielding material which is capable of shielding a radiation. The apparatus further includes an exposing device for irradiating the above-indicated one surface of the recording medium, and thereby forming an optical latent image which corresponds to the light-shielding pattern. The light-shielding pattern is removed by a cleaner from the recording medium after the optical latent image is formed. 摘要： In a color picture recording apparatus, a picture image of an original document is formed on a photosensitive and pressure-sensitive recording medium which may be either a self-coloring type or a transfer type made up of a microcapsule sheet and a developer sheet. According to one aspect of the present invention, in the recording apparatus of the type in which the transfer type recording medium is used, the copy sheets are discharged face-up so as to facilitate an operator's confirmation of the copied picture image. According to another aspect of the invention, the cut developer sheets are stacked in a sheet cassette so that the surface on which the developer material is coated is face-down so that a feeding roller for feeding out the developer sheet does not come into contact therewith. According to still another aspect of the invention, in an apparatus of the type in which a mask member is used for forming a latent image on the recording medium, the mask member and the recording medium are held in intimate contact with each other when exposure is taking place.
