摘要： The present disclosure relates to a liquid crystal display (LCD). There is provided an LCD comprising at least one lamp, a light guide plate for converting light incident from the lamp into a surface light source, an LCD panel disposed above the light guide plate for displaying an image thereon, a first reflection plate disposed below the light guide plate and including an end bent to extend parallel to a surface of the light guide plate such that the reflection plate can surround the lamp installed on the surface of the light guide plate, a mold frame including a space for accommodating the lamp, the light guide plate, the LCD panel and the reflection palate therein and including a portion of a sidewall protruding into the LCD to surround the top of the lamp, and a second reflection plate disposed on a rear surface of a portion of the mold frame arranged above the lamp. Therefore, a thin and lightweight LCD can be obtained and lamp efficiency can also be improved.

摘要： The present invention relates to a polarizing liquid crystal film having no alignment layer and a method for manufacturing the same, a light guide plate integrated with the polarizing liquid crystal film, and a backlight unit. The polarizing liquid crystal film of the present invention includes an adhesive layer, a liquid crystal layer aligned on one side of the adhesive layer, and a protection film arranged on an opposite side of the adhesive layer to protect the liquid crystal layer. Further, the method for manufacturing a polarizing liquid crystal film includes preparing a liquid crystal alignment film, aligning liquid crystal on the liquid crystal alignment film, providing an adhesive layer on the liquid crystal, attaching a protection film protecting the liquid crystal on the adhesive layer, and exfoliating the liquid crystal alignment film. Furthermore, there is provided a light guide plate integrated with the polarizing liquid crystal film and a backlight unit including the same.

摘要： The present invention discloses a submerged hollow fiber membrane module which is of such a structure that it is easy to expand a module processing capability according to a treatment capacity, provides convenient module coupling properties and module manufacturing properties, maintains a stable flux under an efficient air diffusion condition and prevents the damage of membranes and water leakage caused by the loosening of module connecting regions. The submerged hollow fiber membrane module comprises [I] two module headers (2 and 2′) having a filtrate water collecting portion (3) for collecting filtrate water filtered through hollow fiber membranes and a filtrate water outlet (7), [II] an air diffusion unit 8 consisting of support tubes (9 and 9′) fixing the two module headers (2 and 2′) while keeping them spaced a predetermined distance and air diffusion tubes (11 and 11′) having air diffusion holes (13), and [III] a bundle of hollow fiber membranes (1) having both opposite ends fixed to the insides of the module headers (2 and 2′) by an adhesive (6) so as to form a water collecting space within the module headers (2 and 2′), the ends (5) of the hollow portions of the hollow fiber (20) membranes being opened and disposed in parallel to a filtrate water discharge surface (4).

摘要： A method for preparing a multilayer of nanocrystals. The method includes the steps of (i) coating nanocrystals surface-coordinated by a photosensitive compound, or a mixed solution of a photosensitive compound and nanocrystals surface-coordinated by a material miscible with the photosensitive compound, on a substrate, drying the coated substrate, and exposing the dried substrate to UV light to form a first monolayer of nanocrystals, and (ii) repeating the procedure of step (i) to form one or more monolayers of nanocrystals on the first monolayer of nanocrystals. Further, an organic-inorganic hybrid electroluminescence device using a multilayer of nanocrystals prepared by the method as a luminescent layer. The luminescent efficiency and luminescence intensity of the electroluminescence device can be enhanced, and the electrical properties of the electroluminescence device can be controlled by the use of the multilayer of nanocrystals as a luminescent layer.

The method comprises reacting the thiol compound and a metal precursor in a solvent to grow metal sulfide crystals to the nanometer-scale level. Further disclosed is a method for manufacturing metal sulfide nanocrystals with a core-shell structure by reacting a metal precursor and a thiol compound in a solvent to grow a metal sulfide layer on the surface of a core. The metal sulfide nanocrystals prepared by these methods can have a uniform particle size at the nanometer-scale level, selective and desired crystal structures, and various shapes.

摘要： A nanocrystal electroluminescence device comprising a polymer hole transport layer, a nanocrystal light-emitting layer and an organic electron transport layer wherein the nanocrystal light-emitting layer is independently and separately formed between the polymer hole transport layer and the organic electron transport layer. According to the nanocrystal electroluminescence device, since the hole transport layer, the nanocrystal light-emitting layer and the electron transport layer are completely separated from one another, the electroluminescence device provides a pure nanocrystal luminescence spectrum having limited luminescence from other organic layers and substantially no influence by operational conditions, such as voltage.
