摘要： A reconfigurable office partition includes a movable panel with a rigid frame, a core panel mounted therein, and at least one cover panel detachably mounted on the frame and enclosing an associated portion thereof. The frame has at least one vertical stile with first and second channels that extend longitudinally therealong and are shaped to receive utilities therein through outwardly opening sides. The outwardly opening sides of the channels are juxtaposed in opposite directions to facilitate routing utilities along both faces of the panel. A variable height frame support may be positioned between the top of the panel and the building ceiling for floor-to-ceiling applications.

摘要： A variable width panel includes a frame having a knock-down construction adapted for on-site assembly. The frame includes a first rigid stile adapted to be disposed in a generally vertical assembled orientation along a first side of the frame. At least two rigid cross-members having first ends thereof rigidly attached to the stile are disposed in a vertically spaced-apart relationship, and extend in a generally horizontal assembled orientation. The cross-members having predetermined full width with a construction which permits the cross-members to be cut to a custom width at a second end thereof during the on-site assembly for use in a special width panel that is adapted for connection with the standard width panels. The frame also includes fasteners for detachably connecting the second ends of the cross-members with the second stile to define a pocket therebetween. The panel kit further includes a core panel shaped to be received in the pocket, and having a predetermined full width with a construction which permits the core panel to be cut to a custom width during the on-site assembly for use in the special width panel. The variable width panel kit further includes at least one cover panel configured to be detachably mounted on the frame, and enclose an associated portion of the same. The cover panel has a predetermined full width with a construction which permits the cover panel to be cut to a custom width during the on-site assembly for use in the special width panel.

摘要： A wall structure for dividing building space includes several different freestanding base panels such as an internally open partition panel, a sound-deadening partition panel, a glass-supporting partition panel, and a doorway-supporting partition panel, and further includes an overhead system comprising a structural expressway construction, a transom subframe, covers for the subframe, and a glass module attachable to the subframe. The structural expressway construction has a torque box bracket for moving support from an inboard location spaced from the vertical side edge of the base panels to the vertical side edge. The transom subframe mounts atop the different base panels, and telescopingly extends into mating engagement with a ceiling channel. The opening between the ceiling channel, the top of the structural expressway construction, and the transom subframes can be selectively covered with either covers or a window subassembly that releasably engages structure on the ceiling channel, the structural expressway construction and the subframes.

摘要： A freestanding support for supporting a worksurface and an overhead storage unit and the like in an open office environment includes at least three legs where each leg has a bottom portion adapted for resting on a floor, a top horizontal support adapted for receiving and supporting a worksurface on the support, and a vertical support which maintains the bottom portion and the top horizontal support in a fixed vertically spaced relationship. A stretcher extends between and is attached to an upper rear portion of the end legs thereby maintaining the two end legs in a parallel horizontally disposed relationship. The freestanding support also has at least two support posts. One support post has an intermediate portion attached to the stretcher and is positioned substantially in alignment with one of the end legs and further has a bottom portion attached to the vertical support of the end leg. At least a second additional support post has an intermediate portion attached to the stretcher in alignment with the intermediate leg and has a bottom portion attached to the vertical support of the intermediate leg. Each support post has an upper end which is adapted to support a portion of an overhead storage unit above the worksurface supported by the top horizontal supports. The intermediate positioning of one of the support posts and the intermediate leg permits the incorporation of an overhead storage unit with a given worksurface having a different length than the overhead storage unit.

Each of the projections has a range of lateral positions when inserted into a respective one of the apertures. The range of lateral positions provided by the apertures in the first one of the columns is less than the range of lateral positions provided by the apertures in the other row of the columns. The apertures located in a first one of the rows has vertical dimensions that are different than those located in the other of the rows. 摘要： A partition system includes an internally-open partition frame having permanent and removable frame members forming multiple vertical and horizontal wireways, with both lay-in and feed-through wire routing. Utility support brackets are attachable for good wire management. The partition frame supports a wide variety of customizable and functional surface components, including a markerboard wall surface, a slatwall, a colored/covered wall surface, a wall surface including utility outlets, a transparent window. The partition frame includes continuous horizontal and vertical rows of slots that flexibly and adjustably support furniture accessories, such as a worksurface, at selected heights and locations along the partition system. Covers are provided that maintain a very high-quality appearance with uniform lines and gaps. Some covers include adjustable edge-mounted light seals for eliminating light leaks and unsightly areas. Further, the present partition system provides flexibility, customizability, rearrangeability, reconfigurability, and an intuitive assembly.
