    • This invention relates to a packing for an injector device for the placement of a subcutaneous infusion set on a patient. An insertion needle used in conjunction with an injector device is employed for transcutaneous placement of a soft and relatively flexible tubular cannula, followed by removal of the insertion needle and subsequent infusion of medical fluid according to the present invention can storage an injector device combined with an infusion set and an insertion needle under sterile conditions. The packing comprises at least—a first storage room storing the injector device combined with an infusion set and an insertion needle, —a first part (1) providing a further storage room (9b) isolated from the insertion needle (312, 26), is constructed with a bottom part (2a, 2b) and walls (2c) standing upright form the bottom part (2a, 2b), —a second part which is attached to the first part (1) before use in such a way that the conditions inside the packing remain sterile, and seen from a sectional view through the walls (2c), the walls (2c) are forming at least two sections each formed as a partial circle with at least two centres C1 and C2 and the centres C1 and C2 are placed with a distance D between them.

    • The application relates to a device for an intermittent or continuous administration of a therapeutical substance, such as insulin, comprising an injection part and a fluid delivery part (3,4).     • The invention concerns an insertion device for inserting a medical device into the subcutaneous or intramuscular area of a patient. More specifically, this invention relates to an insertion device comprising pivoting and guiding means for moving a penetrating member from a position, where the penetrating member is not pointing into the direction of insertion, to a position, where the penetrating member is pointing into the direction of insertion. The inserter device comprises a housing (15) encompassing a penetrating member (9), said housing comprising a top section (14) and a lower section (16), wherein said insertion device (1) comprises pivoting means (27, 31, 41, 43) and guiding means (10, 19, 16s, 31s, 18s) providing one or more pivoting movement(s) of the penetrating member (9) from a first position, where the penetrating member (9) is not pointing into the direction of insertion, to a second position, where the penetrating member (9) is aligned with the direction of insertion, to a third position, where the penetrating member (9) protrudes the housing (15) and the penetrating member (9) is aligned in the direction of insertion. The guiding means (10, 19, 16s, 31s, 18s) are adapted to provide a longitudinal movement of the penetrating member (9) from the second to the third position.

    • The present invention relates to a device comprising a transcutaneous device and an inserter which transcutaneous device has a mounting surface. The device is upon delivery arranged in a sterile packing which packing functions as inserter and is attached to the transcutanous device i.e. the packing and the inserter is one integrated unit.     • The invention concerns a medical device provided with an outer part or shell and an inner functional part which inner functional part comprises a combination of units. The invention relates to a medical device comprising an outer part and an inner part which outer part provides a functional cover and which inner part comprises one or more units being protected by the functional cover during use, the outer part comprises one or more activation points (56, 115) on the outer surface and the activation points are connected to contact surfaces of the inner part in such a way that pressure on the activation points initiates a function of the inner part. The activation point (56, 115) is positioned on a section (1b, 113b) of an outer shell of the outer part constituted by a hard material and a second section (1b, 113b) of the outer shell of the outer part is constituted by a hard material and between these two portions of hard material, the outer shell comprises a third section (1a, 113a) constituted by a soft and flexible material.
