    • The application relates to communication technology field, in particular to a method, an apparatus and a system for processing a public sentiment topic. The method comprises steps of searching a public sentiment topic containing public sentiment information through a network; acquiring characteristic information of the searched public sentiment topic; determining whether the acquired characteristic information of the public sentiment topic meets an alarming condition; and if yes, storing the public sentiment topic and its characteristic information. According to the method, apparatus and system for processing the public sentiment topic provided in embodiments of the present application, it can be determined whether or not an alarm for the public sentiment topic shall be issued by acquiring and determining the characteristic information of the public sentiment topic. In addition, the public sentiment topic can be managed and tracked sequentially to acquire the change trend of propagation, hits and comments thereof, so that the public sentiment topic can be understood comprehensively. The public sentiment topic can also be analyzed and arranged to generate a public sentiment brief report.

    • The disclosure discloses a method and device for generating an image keyboard, which are applied to the field of communication technologies. The method and the device can both project emitted infrared light beams into the image keyboard and scan the image keyboard, determine whether an infrared radiation change occurs in the key image area of the key position in the image keyboard, output an scanned infrared radiation change information, determine a corresponding key position in the clicked image keyboard according to the infrared radiation change information, and generate a keystroke command electric signal to the corresponding key position. The method and the device provided by the disclosure can solve the problem that a keyboard cannot be manipulated flexibly because the area of the keyboard is affected by the volume of a terminal.

    • System, method and computer program product provides a novel domain adaption/transfer learning approach applied to the problem of classifying abbreviated documents, e.g., short text messages, instant messages, tweets. The proposed method uses a large number of multi-labeled examples (source domain) to improve the learning on the partial observations (target domain). Specifically, a hidden, higher-level abstraction space is learned that is meaningful for the multi-labeled examples in the source domain. This is done by simultaneously minimizing the document reconstruction error and the error in a classification model learned in the hidden space using known labels from the source domain. The partial observations in the target space are then mapped to the same hidden space, and classified into the label space determined by the source domain. Exemplary results provided for a Twitter dataset demonstrate that the method identifies meaningful hidden topics and provides useful classifications of specific tweets.

    • A communication system provides for a handoff of a hybrid mobile station (MS) between a legacy network implementing a non-high rate packet data (non-HRPD) communication technology and a network implementing a high rate packet data (HRPD) communication technology. In one embodiment, the legacy network receives a handoff trigger and redirects the MS to the HRPD network. In other embodiments, the legacy network (or HRPD network) receives a handoff trigger, obtains an allocation of HRPD network (or non-HRPD network) resources from the HRPD network (or non-HRPD network), and informs the MS of the allocated HRPD network (or non-HRPD network) resources. Subsequent to the establishment by the HRPD network (or non-HRPD network) of a traffic channel with the MS, the non-HRPD network (or HRPD network) releases non-HRPD network (or HRPD network) RF resources associated with the MS. In still other embodiments, the handoffs may be controlled by a Mobile Switching Center.
