    • A weighing balance to provide an average weight to an object which tends to move while being weighed such as a laboratory animal. The object to be weighed is placed on a receiving pan which provides an electrical analog output signal corresponding to the weight of the object. This signal after passing through an amplifier is converted to a digital electrical signal fed to a data input control means. A level detector setting means allows an output from said control means only when the weight on the balance reaches a predetermined level. The output from the control means is fed to a memory having a plurality of registers which store this information. Coupled on one side to this memory is a comparator which is also coupled on a second side to said control means. Also coupled to said comparator means is an allowable range means, sampling time means, and average calculating means. The average calculating means feeds an output to a printer.

    • An electronic balance includes a weighing means for producing digital output signals as a measured value in response to a force induced upon a tray, a first memory for storing the mass of a reference weight, a discriminator for signalizing the existence and non-existence of an object on the tray, a second memory for storing a corrected value obtained by differentiating between a measured value of the reference weight and the mass stored in the first memory when the discriminator signalizes that no object is placed on the tray, an arithmetic unit for correcting a measured value signalized by the weighing means in accordance with the corrected value stored in the second memory when the discriminator signalizes that an object exists on the tray, and an output unit for permitting of visual inspection of the arithmetic results obtained by the arithmetic unit.

    • An electromagnetic force-transducer comprising a magnetic circuit and an electromagnetic coil kept movable in the static field provided by said magnetic circuit. The electromagnetic coil consists of two coaxial parallel windings wound on a common frame with a distance kept between the both. The magnetic circuit comprises an inner magnetic path and an outer magnetic path with a cylindrical clearance left therebetween. In the upper and the lower part of the clearance there are provided with an upper magnetic gap and a lower magnetic gap, respectively. The magnetic field in the upper gap and that in the lower gap are directed oppositely to each other. The coil frame is kept movable vertically in the cylindrical clearance, positioning one of the two windings in the upper magnetic gap and the other in the lower magnetic gap. The two windings are current-supplied in the directions opposite to each other to produce their respective electromagnetic forces in the same direction. Thus, the magnetic fields produced by the two windings are cancelled by each other, so that the resultant magnetic field by the entire electromagnetic coil does not affect the fields provided at the magnetic gaps by the magnetic circuit.

    • A drip infusion rate control apparatus controlling the flow rate of a medical solution to be infused into a human or animal body by means of a drip infusion system. The apparatus includes a weight measuring means for measuring the weight of a medicine bottle containing a medical solution being infused into a human or animal body through an infusion tube led out from the medicine bottle, an existing flow rate data computing means for computing, by using at least time-dependently varying weight data outputted from the weight measuring means, an existing flow rate reflecting value which reflects an existing flow rate of the medical solution flowing in the infusion tube, an aiming value outputting means for outputting a set of reference flow rate data defining an aiming flow rate expected to the medical solution, a basic data inputting means for inputting a set of basic data necessary for the aiming value outputting means to output the set of reference flow rate data, a comparator for comparing the existing flow rate reflecting value with at least one of the reference flow rate data contained in the set of reference flow data, and outputting a flow rate control signal, and a flow rate regulating mechanism interposed midway of the infusion tube, the mechanism being operative according to the flow rate control signal outputted from the comparator.
