    • A locking member has a first surface, a first mounting opening and a second mounting opening. Each first mounting opening and second mounting opening is dimensioned to receive the shank portion of a corresponding rotatable member therethrough so that a bottom surface of a head portion of the rotatable member faces toward the first surface of the locking member. A first extending member extends elastically relative to the first surface, wherein the first extending member is disposed in close proximity to the first mounting opening. When the rotatable member is in a mounting position in the first mounting opening, the first extending member contacts the head portion of the rotatable member to inhibit the rotatable member from rotating in a first direction, and the first extending member deflects elastically when the rotatable member rotates in a second direction opposite the first direction.

    • A method for producing a plasma display panel, the method comprising: (i) preparing a front panel and a rear panel, the front panel being a panel wherein an electrode A, a dielectric layer A and a protective layer are formed on a substrate A, and the rear panel being a panel wherein an electrode B, a dielectric layer B, a partition wall and a phosphor layer are formed on a substrate B; (ii) applying a glass frit material onto a peripheral region of the substrate A or B to form an annular glass frit sealing portion; (iii) opposing the front and rear panels with each other such that the annular glass frit sealing portion is interposed therebetween; (iv) supplying a dry gas into a space formed between the opposed front and rear panels; and (v) melting the annular glass frit sealing portion to cause the front and rear panels to be sealed wherein, in the step (i), the protective layer of the front panel is made from a metal oxide comprising at least two oxides selected from among magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, strontium oxide and barium oxide, said metal oxide having a peak between the minimum diffraction angle and the maximum diffraction angle which are selected among the diffraction angles given by respective ones of said at least two oxides in a specific orientation plane in X-ray diffraction analysis; and the step (v) is performed together with the step (iv) wherein the dry gas is supplied such that the front and rear panels do not deform until the point in time when a softening point of the annular glass frit sealing portion is reached.

    • The present invention is a plasma display panel in which a plurality of pairs of display electrodes extending in a row direction are disposed on a surface of a first substrate and a plurality of discharge cells are formed along each pair of display electrodes, wherein, at least within each discharge cell, each display electrode of the pair of display electrodes comprises a bus line and a band-shaped electrode member that is electrically connected to the bus line, the band-shaped electrode member extending in the row direction and being disposed at least mainly on a same side of the bus line as a gap between the pair of display electrodes, and each band-shaped electrode member has at least one cut-out formed from a gap-side edge towards the bus line, each cut-out having a length that is shorter than a distance between the gap-side edge and the bus line. When the plasma display panel is driven, peaks in electric field intensity are respectively formed in the discharge cell in regions of the electrode member on both sides of the cut-outs. Here, The display electrodes can be constructed from bus lines and transparent electrodes both extending in the row direction, and the band-shaped electrode member can be a transparent electrode.

    • A gas adsorption material has a three-dimensional structure wherein a ligand (p-hydroxybenzoic acid) having an aromatic ring as a principal skeleton containing, a carboxyl group and a functional group capable of forming a coordinate bond, the functional group being other than the carboxyl group, and a metal nucleus (Zn) are bonded to each other at a ratio of 1:1. The gas adsorption material is produced by drying a precursor obtained by reacting the ligand and the metal nucleus, dissolving the dried precursor in an organic solvent, heating and stirring a resultant solution to form a three-dimensional structure that includes the organic solvent as a crystal solvent, and removing the crystal solvent.
