    • A solar cell module according to the invention includes a solar cell; a light guiding portion including a first fluorescent substance having a faint color and that emits light having low luminosity factor, the light guiding portion absorbing part of light incident from the outside using the first fluorescent substance and transmitting a first light beam emitted from the first fluorescent substance toward the solar cell; and a converter disposed between the light guiding portion and the solar cell, the converter converting the first light beam incident from the light guiding portion into a second light beam to which the solar cell has higher spectral sensitivity than to the first light beam and causing the second light beam to be incident on the solar cell. Thus, when the solar cell module is used as a window, the solar cell module is highly transparent and highly efficiently generates power.

    • A display system according to the present invention includes: a dimming device capable of switchably presenting a light reflecting state or a light transmitting state; and a display device for displaying information by modulating light transmitted through the dimming device and/or light reflected by the dimming device.     • The disclosure facilitates determining the presence of an abnormality of a light source in a vehicular lamp using, as a determination condition, a number of disconnected semiconductor light-emitting elements among multiple semiconductor light-emitting elements. The vehicular lamp includes a first light source block that has light-emitting diodes LED1 to LED6 connected in parallel; a second light source block that has light-emitting diodes LED7 to LED12 connected in parallel; and an abnormality determination circuit that controls a supply of current from an on-board battery to the light source blocks and determines whether an abnormality is presence in the light source blocks. The abnormality determination circuit determines the presence of an abnormality if the disconnected light-emitting diodes in one of the light source blocks exceed a predetermined number and current cannot flow to the light source block. In such case, the supply of current to the light source blocks is stopped.
