    • An electrophotographic photoreceptor having on a conductive support an interlayer and a photoconductive photoreceptive layer in that order, with the interlayer containing at least one colloidal substance selected from colloidal silica and colloidal alumina, and an organic solvent soluble resin which is composed of(A) a polymer having an acid value of from 10 to 100 and containing repeating units represented by formula (I) and (II) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents H or CH.sub.3 ; R.sub.2 represents H, --CH.sub.3, --C.sub.2 H.sub.5, or a chloromethyl group; and n represents an integer of 1 to 10; ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 represents H or --CH.sub.3 ; and (B) at least one polymer selected from a homopolymer and a plural copolymer having a glass transition point (Tg) of from -70.degree. to 20.degree. C., which can be utilized as a lithographic printing material having long press life.

    • The present invention relates to a recording medium which has an electroconductive layer which exhibits strong stable resistance to humidity and water, and provides high precision visual images and color reproduction of superior quality. The electroconductive substrate comprises an electroconductive layer on at least one side, wherein the electroconductive layer contains an electroconductive pigment, a normal salt and a binder; the binder contains 20 to 85 weight % of starch and the normal salt is maintained at 10 to 100 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of said electroconductive pigment. The recording medium comprises a recording layer which is formed on the electroconductive layer described above, and may contain silicone resin particles therein for further improvement of high prevision visual images.

    • An optical connector has: a holding member having an accommodating portion formed at an end thereof for accommodating a collimator lens and an insertion hole formed at an opposite end thereof for inserting an optical fiber; and a resin joint having a first insertion hole formed at an end thereof for inserting the holding member and a second insertion hole formed at an opposite end thereof for inserting the optical fiber.     • Provided is a water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen characterized by comprising at least colored resin particles which have an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 μm and which are non-thermoplastic in a proportion of 5 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored particles having a glass transition point of lower than 0° C. The average particle diameter of the non-colored particles described above is controlled preferably to 0.01 to 10 μm. The water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen described above further comprises preferably at least one selected from ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of glycerin and ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of diglycerin in a proportion of 1 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition. The above water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen is stable with the passage of time and excellent in a writing performance, erasability by an eraser and abrasion resistance.
