摘要： A content sharing system and content importance level judging method are provided.The content sharing system provides an importance level of arbitrary content is individually judged with respect to users and a notice message valuable for a user is appropriately notified to a client or the outside tool. Further, an access user is able to set the disclosure level of access record of a user accessed the content.In the content sharing system, an importance level of content of multimedia data on a server shared with clients of a plurality of users is judged, in which the importance level of the content with respect to each user is individually calculated by interpreting existing data or a user environment, the client condition is judged, a notice rule setting is changed in accordance with the client condition or an instruction from the client, and a notice message is issued to an appropriate address based on the calculated importance level and a notice rule of the content.

摘要： A data conversion apparatus included an information input device, a holder for holding information designating a method of the conversion processing from input portion when the kind of the input information is examined and is judged as predetermined data for executing a data conversion processing, a convertor for executing the data in accordance with a predetermined rule, a synthesizer for generating new data by combining the input information with a predetermined data content, and an information output device for outputting the new data so generated. When the kind of the data is screen configuration data describing configuration of the screen output of an information processing unit, the predetermined rule adds a display area of the screen configuration and converts it to a screen configuration data capable of displaying a plurality of screen configurations on the same screen.

摘要： A data converting device which includes an input device which receives input information containing one or more kinds of data, a data analyzer which checks each kind of data constituting the input information and extracts data from the input information when the checked data are judged to be predetermined conversion target data to be subjected to a data conversion processing, and a controller which performs the conversion processing on an amount of the extracted data in accordance with a predetermined regulation for the kind of data. The invention further includes an information constructing device which replaces the non-converted data of the input information which converted extracted data, thereby reconstructing the input information, and an output device which outputs the reconstructed input information.

摘要： If a situation in which it is difficult to make a decision about automatic processing without involving user intervention occurs, an inquiry is made to a user to clear such a situation and a response by the user to the inquiry is used as a decision criterion by which to decide the execution of automatic processing when a similar situation occurs later. If a change occurs in the broadcast time of a broadcast program set for timer-recording, this broadcast program overlaps, in broadcast time, another broadcast program set for timer-recording. However, if a need occurs for recording broadcast programs in excess of the number of broadcast programs that may be simultaneously recorded, an inquiry is made to the user which of these broadcast programs is to be preferentially recorded. A response by the user to this inquiry is also used as a criteria for selecting a broadcast program to be preferentially recorded if a similar situation occurs later. The present invention is applicable to devices having capabilities of recording broadcast programs without user intervention.
