    • In a converter for satellite broadcast reception having a fixing structure provided with a circuit board, a plurality of radio-frequency circuits mounted on the circuit board and separated from one another by a grounding pattern, a chassis having ribs arranged in a pattern that corresponds to the grounding pattern, and a mount plate placed on the back surface of the circuit board, a rubber plate having resilience is placed between the circuit board and the mount plate. This permits the grounding pressure with which the grounding pattern of the circuit board is kept in contact with the chassis to be distributed uniformly, and thereby permits stable grounding to be achieved.

    • A radio wave receiving converter includes a main body portion including a first waveguide having a male thread on an outer circumference of the first waveguide, a feedhorn including a second waveguide having a female thread on an inner circumference of the second waveguide, a ring-shaped member including a circumferential wall portion and an annular step portion such that a groove portion where a portion near a tip of the second waveguide is inserted between the ring-shaped member and the outer circumference of the first waveguide is formed, and a sealing agent injected into a groove portion “b”. By this configuration, there is provided a radio wave receiving converter that has a simple structure of a connecting portion, has improved productivity of the components and assemblability of the finished components, and can achieve a reduction in size and weight.

    • An objective lens actuator includes an objective-lens-side main magnet and two stationary-holder-side main magnets mounted to a base body. The objective-lens-side main magnet is positioned to face the two stationary-holder-side main magnets across a gap. The magnets form a magnetic circuit producing magnetic flux extending from either the objective-lens-side main magnet or the two stationary-holder-side main magnets to the remaining magnet(s). The objective lens holder includes a focusing coil and a tilting coil. The focusing coil is located so that the objective-lens-side main magnet and the two stationary-holder-side main magnets are present outside and inside a winding of the focusing coil respectively. The tilting coil is located so that: the objective-lens-side main magnet is present outside a winding of the tilting coil; one of the stationary-holder-side main magnets is present inside the winding; and the remaining one of the stationary-holder-side main magnets is present outside the winding. The structure enables tilt correction and restrains undesirable tilting of the objective lens in a focusing action, for example.
