    • The present invention discloses a home network system (1) using a living network control protocol. The home network system (1) includes: a predetermined network; at least one electric device (40 to 49) connected to the network based on a predetermined protocol; and at least one network manager (2 to 23) connected to the network based on the protocol, for controlling and monitoring the electric device (40 to 49), wherein the protocol comprises an application layer, a network layer, a data link layer, and a physical layer, wherein the physical layer further comprises a special protocol for providing an interface with a dependent transmission medium, and the network layer further comprises a home code control sub-layer for managing a home code for network security when accessing the dependent transmission medium, the home control sub-layer processing a packet from the data link layer or the network layer, according to a predetermined home code.

    • A communication apparatus and a method for supporting carrier sense multiple access/collision detection (CSMA/CD) are disclosed. In a home network having a plurality of peripheral apparatuses in one home bus, the communication apparatus includes an interface circuit for transmitting and receiving packet data by being connected to the home bus; a data transmitting circuit for converting transmission data generated from inner peripheral apparatuses into physical transmission data and then for outputting the data on the home bus through the interface circuit; a data receiving circuit for determining whether data transmitted from other peripheral apparatuses through the interface circuit are received in its own peripheral apparatus and for checking a current state of the home bus; a collision detection circuit for continuously detecting a current state of the home bus through the data receiving circuit; and a communication controlling part for controlling data which are output form the data transmitting circuit by detecting a state of the home bus detected from the collision detection circuit.

    • The present invention relates to a management system for in-house power consumption, more particularly to a management system for in-house power consumption efficiently performing in-house power consumption by means of estimating power consumption of each operation of in-house electric devices. The present invention provides a management system for in-house power consumption comprising: at least one or more electric devices (30, 40, 50, 60) which comprise a communication means and transmit current operation information via the communication means on a given network; an power sensor module (20) that measures an instantaneous power consumption of the total electric devices and transmit it on the network; and a power consumption controller (70) that saves a previously received the operation information and the instantaneous power consumption and estimates the power consumption of each electric device (30, 40, 50, 60) on the basis of the saved operation information and instantaneous power consumption and the currently received operation information and instantaneous power consumption.
