摘要： A piezoelectric ultrasonic motor having 2-dimensional positioning movement includes a stator. The stator includes a piezoelectric ceramic bar and an electrode disposed on the bar. Each bar includes two wings that are separated by a predetermined angle to form a predetermined shape. A power source is used to apply a voltage to the stator to excite a bending mode vibration in the each of the wings, and the combined motion of the two wings produces an elliptical motion at a tip of the wing. A load is operatively connected to the stator, such that a portion of the load in contact with the stator is driven to move linearly through a frictional force between the load and the stator, due to the elliptical motion at the tip of the wing.

A row average gray level value is calculated through simulation after displaying a test image with different gray levels, and the respective gray levels are classified into a plurality of gray level groups according to the probability of pseudo-contour. The gray level conversion is performed differently according to the plural gray level groups. The gray level values of two frames input consecutively and the illuminating patterns of the subfields are compared to detect the pseudo-contour, and the detecting result is applied to the gray level groups to perform the different gray level conversions.

The average signal level of one frame data of an input image signal is calculated to determine a sustain pulse number, and an inverse gamma correction gray level corresponding to the sustain pulse numbers is expressed with reference to inverse gamma correction tables selected according thereto. The sustain pulse numbers determined according to the signal level are divided into a plurality of groups, and then are converted to the subfields depending on the sustain pulse numbers corresponding to the respective groups. In that situation, the sustain pulse numbers at the subfields corresponding to the respective groups are different from each other.

The thin layer is doped with second impurities having a second doping concentration lower than the first doping concentration. A second substrate is formed on the thin layer. A second surface of the first substrate is polished. The polished first substrate is cleaned using a cleaning solution including ammonia and deionized water. 摘要： A method and an apparatus for processing video data for display on a plasma display panel include dividing gray level values reverse gamma corrected with respect to input gray level values into an integer portion, an upper decimal fraction portion and a lower decimal fraction portion. The lower decimal fraction is then dithered, a first update value generated according to the lower decimal fraction dithering result is added to the upper decimal fraction portion, and the upper decimal fraction having the first update value added thereto is dithered. Finally, a second update value generated according to the upper decimal fraction dithering result is added to the integer portion.

A grayscale or a grayscale value is converted according to an original peak value and a converted peak value, and a total number of sustain pulses applied to the one frame is reset such that a brightness corresponding to the converted grayscale or grayscale value is set to be equal to a brightness corresponding to the original grayscale or grayscale value. In such a manner, the numbers of on-subfields and useable subfields corresponding to the grayscale of the input video signal are increased, so that the discharge characteristics are enhanced and the false contour is reduced.
