摘要： A high-density read-only optical disc, and an optical disc apparatus and method using the same. The apparatus and method record data on a lead-in area of a high-density read-only optical disc such as a BD-ROM (Blu-ray disc ROM (Read Only Memory)) in the form of pre-pit strings associated with an HFM (High-Frequency Modulated) groove applied to a BD-RW (Blu-ray Disc Rewritable). Moreover, the apparatus and method continuously apply the same tracking servo operation to an entire area of the same high-density read-only optical disc or rewritable optical disc. Therefore, the apparatus and method can simplify an algorithm for controlling a plurality of tracking servo operations, and avoid an increased size of the optical disc apparatus.

摘要： The present invention relates to a high-density optical disk having thin film layer made from a thermochromic polymer with a red-shift which exhibits self-focusing and optical bleaching. After an incident light beam passes through the polymer medium, not only can the spot size of the beam be reduced but also transmittance can be enhanced due to these kinds of third-order nonlinear optical response. Thus, a high-density disk structured according to the present invention is capable of the signal reproduction resolution beyond the diffraction limit with an efficient reflectivity. Accordingly, data recording density of a high-density disk can be improved greatly.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composition comprising an inhibitor of the expression or activity of SH3 domain containing ring finger 2 (SH3RF2) for preventing or treating cancers. More specifically, since the SH3RF2 protein, of which the expression level increases in various cancer tissues, binds to PAK4, which is a cancer-associated gene, to regulate an apoptosis inhibitory function of the PAK4 protein by ubiquitination activity of SH3RF2 RING domain, cancer cells, in which the expression of SH3RF2 is inhibited, sensitively respond to the induction of apoptosis to promote apoptosis and reduce in vivo tumorigenicity, such that the inhibitor of the expression or activity of SHRF2 can be useful as a composition for preventing or treating cancers.
