摘要： A method of preparing a uniform silicone composition, comprising treating under the application of a shearing force a polymeric product obtained by addition polymerization of (A) an organhydrogenpolysiloxane containing in its molecule from 1.5 to 5 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms on average, said silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms being in an amount of from 1 to 20 mol %, based on the total of the silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms and silicon-bonded organic groups in the molecule; and (B) an organopolysiloxane containing in its molecule from 1.5 to 5 silicon-bonded aliphatic unsaturated groups on average; in the presence of from 10 to 1,000 parts by weight of low-viscosity silicone oil having a viscosity of not more than 100 cSt at 25.degree. C. based on 100 parts by weight of the total amount of said (A) and (B).

摘要： Novel organic silicon compounds having a UV absorbing benzotriazole or benzophenone skeleton are provided comprising R.sup.1.sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2 and SiO.sub.2 units as essential units, 0 to 20 mol % of R.sup.2 SiO.sub.3/2 and R.sup.3.sub.2 SiO units, and 0 to 20 mol % of R.sup.3.sub.2 SiO units. The siloxane units are present in a molar ratio: (R.sup.1.sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2 +R.sup.2 SiO.sub.3/2 +R.sup.3.sub.2 SiO)/SiO.sub.2 of from 0.5 to 1.5. At least one group of formulae (1) through (7) constitutes 1 to 33 mol % of the total quantity of the organic groups represented by R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 while the remainder is a monovalent saturated or unsaturated organic group or groups having 1 to 18 carbon atoms. Cosmetic compositions containing the same compounds have improved UV absorbing capacity.

摘要： A silicone oil used, for example, as an electric insulation oil can be imparted with greatly increased flame retardancy when it is compounded with a soluble platinum compound, e.g., chloroplatinic acid, and an alkynyloxy, e.g., ethynyloxy, containing compound or, in particular, an ethynyloxy-containing organosilicon compound. The heat resistance of the silicone oil composition can be further improved by admixing the composition with an organosilicon compound having at least one imino-containing aromatic group such as a 4-anilinophenoxy group bonded to the silicon atom.

摘要： A gel composition which comprises a specific type of cyclic dimethyl polysiloxane, an animal or plant oil or vaseline, and an ester of dextrin with a fatty acid having from 8 to 20 carbon atoms.
