摘要： A latch bolt operating device is adapted for use with a latch bolt unit that is installed in a door panel, and includes exterior and interior operating units. The exterior operating unit includes a key-operated plug-and-cylinder lock assembly, and an exterior housing having an outer annular cover, an inner annular cover and an annular shield. The outer annular cover has a rear end portion formed with a first annular shoulder. The inner annular cover is received in the outer annular cover and has a rear end portion formed with a second annular shoulder. The annular shield extends into the rear end portion of the inner annular cover and has a peripheral portion which engages the second annular shoulder when the latter is bent. The interior operating unit includes a torque bar and an interior housing. The torque bar can be positioned releasably in a first position corresponding to an extended position of a bolt of the latch bolt unit and a second position corresponding to a retracted position of the bolt.

摘要： A reinforcing apparatus for a lever handle of a door lock includes a housing fixed to a door and provided around a driving shaft of the door lock. The housing has a wall transverse to the driving shaft. The wall has a hole formed therethrough for passage of the driving shaft. A rotary member is mounted in the housing for rotating simultaneously with the driving shaft. The rotary member is sleeved on the driving shaft and has an engaging plate which projects axially from an outer peripheral edge thereof. A coiled spring is provided around the rotary member for biasing the rotary member to return and maintain the lever handle at its original unoperated position after the rotary member is rotated by the lever handle. The coiled spring has two legs extending radially outwardly to abut against the engaging plate. One of the legs is displaceable by the engaging plate. The housing further includes a stopping unit provided on the wall thereof. The stopping unit is aligned radially with and is located outwardly of the engaging pate when the lever handle is in the unoperated position. The other one of the legs is kept immobilized by the stopping unit when the rotary member rotates.

The spindle may be moved axially so as to be locked against rotational movement relative to the mounting cap. In a preferred embodiment, the mounting cap and the spindle are provided respectively with interengageable first and second engaging elements. A retaining element is mounted on the mounting cap to releaseably and selectively engage first and second shoulder faces formed on the spindle so as to retain the spindle in two positions.

A lock core assembly is removably mounted to the receptacle of the handle assembly and includes a lock core therein. The lock core includes a key hole defined in a first end thereof. A transmission device is received in the axial hole of the tubular member and includes a first end and a second end. The second end of the transmission device includes an end face plate extending in a direction transverse to a longitudinal axis of the key driving means, and two spaced positioning rods project outwardly from the end face plate and extend away from the first end along a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the transmission device. The lock core includes two positioning holes defined in a second end thereof and extending along a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis thereof. The positioning rods are removably extended through the holes in the second end of the lock core. The holes are respectively aligned with the positioning rods when mounting the lock core assembly into the receptacle.
