摘要： A periodical signal detection circuit is designed for use in an apparatus which reproduces an information signal and a periodical signal from a recording medium. A separation circuit separates the periodical signal from the reproduced signal. A reference pulse is generated at a repetition frequency which is the same as the frequency of the periodical signal. A first gate circuit responds to the periodical signal obtained from the separation circuit and to the reference pulse signal. A first counter produces an output by counting N of the reference pulses (N is an integer greater than or equal to 2). A second gate circuit passes the signal from the separation circuit according to the output of the first counter. An output circuit detects the signals in responsive to the reference pulse, and the output of either the first or the second gate circuit.

摘要： An address signal reproducing system is provided in a rotary recording medium reproducing apparatus which reproduces signals from a rotary recording medium by a reproducing element, where the rotary recording medium is recorded with an address signal in units of predetermined sections for a plurality of sections for each track turn of the rotary recording medium. The address signal reproducing system comprises a kick pulse signal generator for generating a kick pulse signal for forcibly shifting the reproducing element to an adjacent track, a shifting circuit for performing tracking control with respect to the reproducing element and shifting the reproducing element to an adjacent track when applied with the kick pulse signal generated by the kick pulse signal generator, and a stopping circuit for stopping the kick pulse signal from being generated by the kick pulse signal generator during an interval in which the reproducing element traces over at least one of the predetermined sections of the rotary recording medium. The reproducing element reproduces the address signal under a tracking controlled state without being shifted, during the interval in which the generation of the kick pulse signal is stopped by the stopping circuit.

摘要： A high-speed search system in a rotary recording medium reproducing apparatus having a reproducing transducer including a reproducing element for reproducing recorded signals from a rotary recording medium in which an information signal and a chapter address signal including a program number of the information signal are recorded, and transferring mechanism for transferring the reproducing transducer along the radial direction of the rotary recording medium, comprises a designating circuit for designating a program number of a desired program which is to be reproduced, a reproducing circuit for reproducing a chapter address signal from a signal reproduced by the reproducing transducer; and a control circuit for comparing the designated program number with a program number of the reproduced chapter address signal and transferring the reproducing transducer at a high speed by the transferring mechanism towards a direction where the two program numbers coincide when the two program numbers differ, and controlling so that the reproducing transducer is transferred towards the direction where the two program numbers coincide according to the difference in the position of the reproducing element and a predetermined position within a program of the designated program number.

摘要： A rotary recording medium comprises a video signal of the same unit repeatedly recorded for N-field period (N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2) for each track turn, a track shift address signal for instructing the existence of forced track shift of a pickup reproducing element, the shifting direction, and the shifting position, recorded on at least one position for one revolution of the rotary recording medium with a constant period regardless of the kind of video signal source of the video signal, where the track shift address signal comprising at least a synchronizing code, rotary recording medium type discriminating code, a kick existence instructing code, and a kick direction instructing code, and divided audio signal parts obtained by dividing an audio signal for every field period of the video signal which is reproduced, successively arranged and recorded according to a scanning locus of the pickup reproducing element upon normal reproduction. The rotary recording medium has track parts recorded with the divided audio signal parts on at least one part of a recording surface thereof. The reproducing apparatus comprises an address signal reproducing circuit for reproducing the track shift address signal from within a signal reproduced by a reproducing circuit, and a kick pulse generator responsive to an output signal of the address signal reproducing circuit, for generating a pulse for forcibly shifting the scanning track of the pickup reproducing element.

摘要： An apparatus for automatically reproducing recorded signals from a rotary recording medium, in accordance with the mode in which signals were recorded. The reproducing apparatus comprises a micro-computer which produces a two-bit mode control signal and a one-bit muting signal. The one-bit muting signal puts one of two processing circuits in a non-operational state, so that the other of the two processing circuits can perform the signal processing in accordance with the mode specified by the two-bit mode control signal. Four codes constituted by the two-bit mode control signal are commonly used to specify four reproducing modes of a video rotary recording medium and four reproducing modes of an audio rotary recording medium.

摘要： An address data accessing device is used with a reproducing apparatus which reproduces recorded signals from a rotary recording medium which is time-sequentially recorded with a plurality of kinds of information signals, a time address signal, and a chapter address signal. The address data accessing device comprises an instruction decoder supplied with an information signal selecting instruction data when selectively reproducing one kind of information signal from among the plurality of kinds of information signals which are reproduced from the recording medium, an address data fetch circuit for fetching and producing one of the time address signal and the chapter address signal which are reproduced, and a switch circuit for switching and producing one of an output signal of the instruction decoder and a signal from the address data fetch circuit in response to another output signal of the instruction decoder, and for applying an output signal thereof to the address data fetch circuit. The address data fetch circuit alternately fetches and produces the time address signal and the chapter address signal under control of the output signal of the switch circuit.

摘要： A reproducing apparatus comprises a reproducing circuit including a pickup reproducing element, for reproducing recorded signals from a rotary recording medium, an address signal reproducing circuit for reproducing a track shift address signal from the signals which are reproduced by the reproducing circuit, a detecting circuit for detecting whether the address signal is reproduced with a predetermined period, a memory for storing the value of the reproduced address signal or a flag which is related to the value of the reproduced address signal, when the detecting circuit detects that the address singal is reproduced with the predetermined period, and a circuit for generating a control signal which causes the pickup reproducing element to undergo a forced track shift at predetermined positions on the tracks so that the pickup reproducing element scans along a scanning locus which has the same periodicity as the scanning locus along which the pickup reproducing element had been scanning up to that point. The control signal is generated based on the value of the reproduced address signal when the detecting circuit detects that the address signal is reproduced with the predetermined period, and based on one or a plurality of values which are pre-stored in the memory when the detecting circuit detects that the address signal is not reproduced with the predetermined period.
