    • There is disclosed herein a system, methods and device for creating three-dimensional decorations. The system, devices and methods disclosed operate to facilitate quick creation of relatively inexpensive and reproducible three-dimensional decorations from most any cuttable material. A pattern cutting system includes a two-part template and a cutter having a cutting blade. The template includes substantially planar first and second portions, each with a plurality of grooves therein, the cutting blade of the cutter fitting within the grooves to effectively cut material. The two portions are preferably hinged together, for example, by a living hinge, to be foldable such that the grooves in each portion align. A cuttable material, such as paper, is sandwiched and retained between the first portion and the second portion while the cutter cuts the material along the plurality of grooves.

    • A punching apparatus for a sheet media comprises a base and a handle actuator. The base comprises a first impression head that defines a first image-forming pattern and a second impression head that defines a second image-forming pattern. The base further comprises a first impression head protrusion having a first height and a second impression head protrusion having a second height. The handle actuator hingedly couples to the base. The handle actuator moves between a first position, a second position, and a third position. A limiting member contacts the first impression head protrusion when the handle actuator is moved to the second position, and the first impression head moves to a sheet media forming position. The limiting member contacts the second impression head protrusion when the handle moves to the third handle position, and the first and the second impression heads move to the sheet media forming position.

    • A compression punching system comprises a base, a punch body, a punch tool, and an actuator. The base comprises a base die and a first polarized magnetic surface. The punch body is configured to engage the base. The punch body defines a punch cavity and comprises a second magnetically polarized magnetic surface. The second magnetically polarized surface is configured to magnetically engage the first polarized magnetic surface and position the punch body in corresponding alignment with the base. The punch tool is disposed in the punch cavity. The actuator slidably couples to the punch body. The actuator is movable relative to the punch body between a first resting position and a punching position, and the movement of the actuator causes movement of the punch body.
