摘要： 1,2-Ethane diphosphonates of the general formulaM.sub.2 O.sub.3 P--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --PO.sub.3 M.sub.2wherein M is hydrogen, metal ion, ammonium, alkyl ammonium or mixtures thereof, are disclosed as inhibiting the corrosion of metals by oxygen-bearing waters. The 1,2-ethane diphosphonates can be employed either alone or in combination with certain thiols, 1,2,3-triazoles, zinc salts, chromates, silicates, inorganic phosphates, molybdates, tannins, lignins, lignin sulfonates, certain calcium and magnesium salts and mixtures thereof.

摘要： Carboxylated lactones of the general formula ##EQU1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are individually selected from hydrogen, hydroxy, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, --COOM, --CHOHCOOM, --CH.sub.2 COOM and a 1,3-dioxolane, 5-oxo group, and R.sup.3 is selected from hydrogen and --COOM, wherein M is hydrogen, alkali metal, ammonium or alkylammonium, provided that at least one of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 contain a carboxyl group, are disclosed as inhibiting the corrosion of metals by oxygen-bearing waters. The carboxylated lactones can be employed either alone or in combination with thiols, 1,2,3-triazoles, zinc salts, chromates, silicates, inorganic phosphates, molybdates, tannins, lignins, lignin sulfonates, calcium and magnesium salts and mixtures thereof.

摘要： A system and method for constructing and deploying a business activity monitoring (BAM) dashboard associated with an event-based process are disclosed. A configuration module receives an event-based process identifier for an event-based process and data, such as inputs or outputs, for the event-based process. A generation module then generates a dashboard description that includes the identifier and an associated dashboard template having one or more dashboard components. This dashboard description is used by a dashboard server to automatically generate a BAM dashboard for monitoring the event-based process by using the association between the dashboard template and the event-based process to display data associated with the event-based process using one or more dashboard components.

摘要： An improved process was found for preparing a vanadium-containing catalyst wherein a tetravalent vanadium compound is provided from a pentavalent vanadium compound, comprising contacting the pentavalent vanadium compound with a phosphonate. The improved process is exemplified by the preparation of phosphorus-vanadium-oxygen catalysts, and particularly the preparation of phosphorus-vanadium-oxygen catalysts having a phosphorus to vanadium atom ratio of about 1:2 to about 2:1 comprising contacting a vanadium compound with a selected phosphonate, recovering a phosphorus-vanadium-oxygen precursor, and thereafter calcining the precursor to form the catalysts. The compound 1-hydroxy-1,1-ethylidene diphosphonic acid is preferred as the phosphonate.
