摘要： The invention relates to a stent that comprises a single sinus section and is preferably provided at the proximal end thereof with a native vessel valve (26). The stent comprises a first and a second hollow-cylindrical section (10, 11) having a first and a second diameter each, and a third section (12) disposed therebetween having a third maximum diameter. The third maximum diameter is greater than the first and second diameters and forms the sinus section. The stent according to the invention with the single sinus has an increased functionality. Particularly when used with a graft with a sinus and vessel valve, the functionality of the stent is secured and the wear is diminished. The stent is particularly suitable for native valves and particularly as a pulmonary valve replacement.

摘要： A procedure for the determination of the true average peak velocity of particulate laden liquids in a tube, by the use of a Doppler ultrasonic transducer inserted in said tube. The average peak velocity (APV) and the null and first moment (M0 or M1) of the entire spectrum are obtained. The measured correlation between the null or first moment (M0 or M1) and APV are compared with a corresponding standard value which represents the correlation between M0 or M1 and APV upon optimal positioning of the Doppler ultrasonic transducer whereby where there is a deviation from the standard value, the transducer is moved until the values coincide.

摘要： Apparatus for endoscopic or gastroscopic examination of patients, comprising an endoscope (5) having a probe head (6) provided with an imaging transducer being preferably an ultrasonic or camera-based transducer, said endoscope (5) being adapted to be inserted through the mouth of the patient, and position detection means (7,15) to provide probe head position information which together with corresponding imaging examination results are adapted to be stored in recording means (24). As known per se the endoscope (5) has a visible distance scale or indication (15) along a length thereof. The position detection means comprise a small video camera (7) with a mounting device (7A) for holding the camera in a fixed position in relation to the patient's teeth and with the field of view of the camera covering said endoscope (5) and said distance scale or indication (15) thereon, at the point of entering the patient's mouth.
