    • Systems, methods, and computer program products for turn on optimization of a driver for one or more light sources are disclosed. A duty cycle value is selected from a table. The selected duty cycle corresponds to the target output current of the driver and has a corresponding voltage. The selected duty cycle is applied to the driver. An output voltage at the light source is measured, and compared to the corresponding voltage of the selected duty cycle to produce a voltage comparison result. Based on the comparison result, the selection of the duty cycle is adjusted. Additionally, an output current of the light source is measured and compared to the target output current, to produce a current comparison result. An adjustment coefficient is applied to a feedback circuit of the driver based thereon, wherein the feedback circuit adjusts a switching frequency of the driver based on the selected duty cycle.

    • A method for extracting scintillation pulse information includes followed steps: 1. obtaining a peak value of the scintillation pulse in a certain energy spectrum, and setting at least three threshold voltages according to the peak value; 2. determining the time when the scintillation pulse passes through the each threshold voltage, wherein each time value and its corresponding threshold voltage form a sampling point; 3. selecting multiple sampling points as sampling points for reconstructing and reconstructing pulse waveform; 4. obtaining the data of original scintillation pulse by using reconstructed pulse waveform. A device for extracting scintillation pulse information includes a threshold voltage setting module (100), a time sampling module (200), a pulse reconstruction module (300) and an information acquiring module (400).

    • Multiple output channel light source power supply circuits, and methods for protecting, are provided. A front end circuit receives an input voltage and provides a regulated front end DC voltage (FEDC). Voltage converter circuits (VCCs) receive the FEDC and provide a separate associated DC output for each associated output channel. A protection switch is coupled between. In its conducting state, the FEDC is coupled to the VCCs. In its non-conducting state, the FEDC is decoupled. A current sense circuit of a current sensor in parallel with a bypass switch is coupled to the VCCs to provide a current sense output representing current through at least one VCC. A controller circuit places the protection switch in the non-conducting state in response to the current sense output. The bypass switch may be placed in a conducting state to shunt current around the current sensor during normal operation to reduce or eliminate inefficiency.

    • Multiple output channel light source power supply circuits, and methods for protecting the output channels, are provided. A plurality of voltage converter circuits are each configured to receive the regulated front end DC voltage and provide a separate associated DC output for an associated one of the multiple output channels. A protection switch is coupled therebetween, and includes a conducting state, to couple the front end DC voltage to the plurality of voltage converter circuits, and a non-conducting state, to decouple the front end DC voltage. A current sense circuit is coupled to the voltage converter circuits, and provides a current sense output representative of current through at least one voltage converter circuit. A controller circuit places the protection switch in the non-conducting state in response to the current sense output.
