    • A heat transfer bridge for absorbing heat from electronic circuits and electrical distribution transformers to thereby cool said components is disclosed. The heat transfer bridge includes a passive pump for pumping a fluid having a low boiling point that readily creates bubbles when heated to its boiling point. The bubbles are directed via selected flow paths to effectively push or drive the fluid from adjacent a heat source such as an electronic circuit or transformer to heat dissipating components such as cooling fins. In one embodiment, the fluid in the inventive heat transfer bridge comprises a fluid comprising metallic slurry that provides many times the heat dissipation rate as compared to a clear fluid.

    • Validation of the identity of the user is performed with the use of a card associated with intelligence that identifies the user. Validation of the document involves one or more of: validating the presence of a signature; validating the amount of the monetary transaction document including a manual entry of the amount by the user; validating CAR against the LAR; and validating the banking system parameters and rules for the customer and/or the transaction. To assist in the automatic analysis of data on monetary transactional documents or on remittance documents, the user is prompted to provide a bounding box about the data. An image touch screen may be touched by the user to locate the bounding box and the user may magnify the data to fill the boundary box to exclude other data from analysis. After document and person validation, the system will dispense money or transfer monies to a savings account, a checking account, a smart card, or the like. The system will also write money orders or wire transfer money.

    • The LED bulb includes a body in the shape of a standard domestic light bulb and has a base which can be screwed into a standard AC receptacle. The bulb comprises a plurality of cooling fins made of aluminum and cast to form the outer surface of the light bulb. A central opening extends axially through the bulb with the interior edges of the cooling fins forming the interior periphery of the opening. The bulb thus provides two cooling air flow paths. A heat sink for supporting a circuit board carrying the LEDs is cast together with the fins. The bulb may be connected in any orientation and still retain its same cooling characteristics. A lens faceted circular surface also having a central opening disperses the photons in an overlapping manner to provide a uniform alighted area even though the bulb has a central opening.
