    • The design and attachment of an insulation package according to an exemplary embodiment, which may be installed near the fuselage structure, is believed protect the cabin region of an aircraft against fire whose flames act on the insulation package from outside the aircraft environment, thus clearly facilitating evacuation of the passengers from the vehicle. The insulation package arrangement may comprise several fuselage insulation packages of an elongated form. These packages may adjoin the aircraft fuselage structure in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. They may longitudinally adjoin a support surface of the stringers which are attached to the aircraft fuselage, or longitudinally adjoin an inner area of a panel of outer skin and are attached to both longitudinal sides of the ribs. Furthermore, those insulation packages may be completely enclosed by a burn-through-proof foil which is arranged in a space enclosed by interior paneling and by the panels of the outer skin. The design of a fuselage insulation package may be implemented with burn-through-proof insulation of a larger cross section and/or a burn-through-proof barrier layer of a smaller cross section which are arranged within the fuselage insulation package either singly or in combination. In this arrangement, the insulation or the barrier layer extends near to or adjacent to an interior wall region of the foil wall. As an alternative only that insulation which on the longitudinal end of the fuselage insulation package continues outward with a flat insulation end section is attached outside of and adjacent to the foil circumference of the fuselage insulation package. Said end section of insulation is attached to a rib-attachment region which is arranged below the respective longitudinal sides of a rib and near the stringer by means of burn-through-proof attachment elements.

    • The fuselage according to an exemplary embodiment is conceived in such a way as to prevent the spread of flames produced by a source of fire and acting on the fuselage from outside the aircraft environment. The fuselage concept takes into account materials or material combinations that will scarcely allow protection of the cabin area of an aircraft (upon emergency landing) to be violated by flames spreading from outside the aircraft environment, which may facilitate an evacuation of passengers from the aircraft. An aircraft fuselage, whose fuselage structure, in addition to other structural elements that are components of the mechanical strength bracing of the fuselage and help absorb its forces, encompasses an exterior skin consisting of various respective materials, which are designed to be resistant to shear, and incorporated as a bearing element into the mechanical strength bracing to absorb and transfer the forces and torques acting thereupon. The exterior skin is fabricated from a burn-through resistant semi-finished material consisting of a non-metallic material or a fireproof metallic material, wherein the semi-finished material can be molded through further processing. Also, the exterior skin may be realized by a semi-finished material combining a non-metallic material and a metallic material, wherein the produced exterior skin product is a hybrid material that can be molded and joined through further processing.

    • The present invention relates to an insulation structure for the internal insulation of a vehicle. The insulation structure will contribute to ensuring the fire protection for interior regions of the vehicle from a (conceivable) fire incursion from outside the vehicle environment, so that evacuation of the passengers from the vehicle is made significantly easier. Intended modifications to a typical insulation package will implement an elevation of the fire protection safety for separated interior regions lying proximal to a structure external skin.The insulation structure for the internal insulation of a vehicle comprises an insulation package, which is implemented using an insulation, and a film, which is positioned inside an intermediate space that includes internal paneling and an external skin of the vehicle. The insulation package is implemented homogeneously using a first insulation, whose insulation material is burn-through safe. Otherwise, the insulation package is constructed using distinct insulation regions, which are implemented using the first insulation and a second insulation, whose insulation material is burn-through unsafe. These insulation regions are positioned along a finite series and laid next to one another up to a terminating insulation region, whose insulation material is exchanged in alternating sequence. Otherwise, the insulation package is implemented homogeneously using a second insulation, whose insulation material is burn-through unsafe (fire endangered, flammable), multiple burn-through safe barrier layers being integrated in the second insulation.

    • The invention relates to an arrangement for lining the interior of a passenger vehicle such as an airplane including a honeycomb formation of several honeycombs arranged side by side. At its end, the honeycomb body is supported by a cover layer supported above and below the honeycomb formation such that by means of two cover layers glued onto the honeycomb formation, a layer design of the honeycomb panelling is created, which layer design is arranged so as to extend parallel to the outer skin of the aircraft and follow the curvature of the outer skin.
