摘要： An airframe design may include a bonded frame or assembly, and one or more components that may be removably attached to the bonded frame. The bonded frame may include struts, central bulkheads, a tail section, a plurality of wing sections, and motor mounts that are adhered together using adhesive. The one or more attachable components may include a forward fuselage, motors, propellers, motor pod fairings, stabilizer fins, and landing gear that are attached using fasteners. The bonded frame may reduce the number of parts of the airframe design and may also reduce complexity, cost, and weight, while also increasing stiffness and strength. Further, the various attachable components may facilitate fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of an aerial vehicle having the airframe design.

摘要： An aircraft is equipped with an auxiliary access control barrier (AACB) to prevent access to an area of the aircraft. The AACB includes laterally extendable door panels that are slidably attached to each other to vary a width of the AACB, a hinge by which the door panels are pivotably attached to the aircraft, such that the door panels are pivotable between a deployed position, in which the door panels are positioned across the opening to prevent passage through the opening and in which the AACB has a first width, and a stowed position, in which the door panels are positioned to allow passage through the opening and in which the AACB has a second width, and one or more locks to prevent relative motion between the door panels to fix the width of the AACB and/or to secure the AACB within the opening in the bulkhead.

摘要： A trunk route aircraft has at least one wing for supporting the aircraft during flight, and at least one propulsor for forward propulsion of the aircraft. The trunk route aircraft further includes a pressurized trunk route fuselage having a double-bubble cross-sectional shape and a generally vertically-oriented longitudinal bulkhead dividing the trunk route fuselage interior into two side-by-side trunk route payload compartments. The longitudinal bulkhead is loaded in tension when the trunk route fuselage is pressurized. The trunk route payload compartments are each configured to receive a plurality of lightweight ISO (International Organization for Standardization) geometry containers arranged end-to-end, or a plurality of container inserts arranged end-to-end, each container insert also configured to be received within the lightweight ISO-geometry container, or a combination of one or more lightweight ISO-geometry containers and one or more container inserts arranged end-to-end.
