摘要： Provided herein are nanoparticle platforms and combinatorial drug delivery vehicles comprising gold nanoparticles with a plurality of thilolated hyperbranched dendrons conjugated to the nanoparticle surface. The thiolated hyperbranched dendrons comprise chemically-modifiable surface groups, functionalized interior groups and nano-cavities within the hyperbranched structure to which a variety of payload molecules may be conjugated, optionally via a linker. Payload molecules may comprise nucleic acids, anticancer drugs and small molecule inhibitors, optionally with, non-cytotoxic signaling agents, for example, fluoroscein isothiocyanate. Also provided are methods for delivering one or more therapeutic agents to a cell or tissue or for treating a pathophysiological condition in a subject by delivering the combinatorial drug delivery vehicles to a cell or tissue associated with the pathophysiological condition to facilitate internalization of the vehicle to effect treatment.

摘要： A stack of a stack of currency bills is received, transported, and imaged. Image data reproducible as a visually readable image of one or more portions of at least one side of each currency bill in the stack is obtained. A serial number and at least one or more additional characters are extracted from the image data for each currency bill. A processor compares the extracted serial number and corresponding extracted one or more additional characters with stored serial number information and corresponding stored additional character information associated with the serial number information of genuine currency bills. The stored serial number information and corresponding stored additional character information uniquely identify a genuine currency bill. Any currency bill that does not have one or more extracted additional characters matching the stored serial number information and corresponding stored additional character information is flagged.

The method also includes the act of assigning to each currency bill one of a plurality of fitness types and fitness levels relating to the first characteristic information of the bill, at least one of the fitness types and the fitness levels being defined by a user. The method also includes the act of outputting each currency bill along one of a plurality of output paths designated by the user to receive currency bills, the output path having a fitness type and/or fitness level assigned to the currency bill.

The modified filters are subject to reduced back pressure and reduced thermal gradients experienced during regeneration as compared to unmodified filters. 摘要： A document facing apparatus for reversing the face orientation of a document includes four substantially similar document folding modules, each having a document gripping and advancing portion and a folding portion. The gripping and advancing portion engages the document along a first longitudinal half portion, with substantially the other longitudinal half portion extending outwardly of the gripping and advancing portion, and advances the entire document through the folding module. The document folding portion engages the document along its other longitudinal half portion and folds the other longitudinal half portion of the document to a substantially 90.degree. angle relative to its initial orientation upon entering the document folding portion. Four document folding modules may be aligned in a given sequence such that a document passing therethrough will have its face orientation reversed.

摘要： A customer account number is received via an interface of a document processing device. A plurality of documents associated with the deposit transaction is received in an input receptacle of the document processing device. The plurality of documents is transported, one at a time, along a transport path from the input receptacle past an image scanner to one or more output receptacles. Each document is imaged with the image scanner to produce image data associated with the deposit transaction. The image data is reproducible as a visually readable image of at least a portion of each document. Deposit information is generated from the image data associated with the deposit transaction. The customer account number is associated with the generated deposit information. The deposit information is transmitted from the document processing device to a teller system.
