摘要： A high frequency-high voltage generator supplies current, on one hand, to a first arc striking circuit connecting a main electrode to an auxiliary electrode and, on the other hand, to a second arc striking circuit which connects one of the two electrodes to the workpiece to be treated. In this way there is achieved a striking of the arc in two stages. This ensures high reliability regardless of the nature of the material from which the workpiece is made regardless of the protecting gas used, in particular for the TIG welding of light alloys in a helium atmosphere. The device is applicable to an automatic TIG welding.

摘要： A liquid concentrate of mineral fillers including an aqueous or organic solvent, mineral fillers useful for making paints, with a dry extract of mineral fillers not less than 65%, and a grafted copolymer of: 1) 5 to 40 wt. %, preferably 15 to 35 wt. %, more preferably 20 to 30 wt. % of anchoring sequences of a linear copolymer formed from at least two different monomer units including: a first ethylene monomer unit of at least a basic nitrogenous group, and a second unsaturated ethylene monomer unit of an aromatic group, preferably a phenyl, with the weight content of the first monomer units relative to th second monomer units is from 40 to 60 wt. %, preferably about 50 wt. %; 2) 25 to 90 wt. %, preferably 40 to 80 wt. %, more preferably 50 to 70 wt. % of organo-soluble hydrophobic sequences to disperse the particles in a polar medium; and 3) 5 to 70 wt. %, preferably 15 to 30 wt. %, more preferably 10 to 20 wt. % of hydrophilic sequences of a water-soluble polymer.

摘要： Esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acids are used as plasticisers for polyvinyl chloride to enable products with comparable mechanical properties to be obtained using less polyvinyl chloride. Use of these esters also produces formulations with increased stability to ultra-violet light, improved low temperature properties, lower viscosity and improved processability as well as reduced smoke on burning. The esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acids may be used alone or in admixture with other plasticisers when the esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acids may act as viscosity depressants. Fast fusing plasticisers may also be included. The formulations are particularly useful in the production of a range of goods from semi-rigid to highly flexible materials and are particularly useful in the production of medical materials such as blood bags and tubing.
