摘要： Electrical devices having a PTC element of a polymer having conductive particles dispersed therein. The PTC element is coated with a conductive layer and has electrodes with a plurality of voids affixed to opposing surfaces. The devices are made by dispersing conductive particles into a polymer to form a polymer PTC composition. The polymer PTC composition is melt-shaped to form a laminar shaped PTC element. First and second opposing surfaces of the PTC element are coated with a conductive layer. The electrodes, characterized by a plurality of voids and made of foam, are brought into contact with the coated surfaces of the PTC element, and heated while applying pressure to form a laminate. The laminate is then further shaped into a plurality of PTC electrical circuit protection devices.

The temperature of polymer PTC composition is held at the temperature greater than Tmp for a predetermined period of time. Then the temperature of the polymer PTC composition is decreased to a temperature less than Tmp at a rate, r2, wherein r2 is greater than r1.

摘要： A number of integrated circuit dies having on board protection against electrical overstress (EOS) transients are provided. Generally, the devices have an integrated circuit die with an outer periphery and a functional die area. A plurality of conductive input/output pads are formed on the integrated circuit die. Typically, a first conductive guard rail is disposed on the integrated circuit die and forms a gap between each one of the input/output pads. A voltage variable material is disposed in the gaps between the conductive guard rail and the input/output pads. Typically, a plurality of electrical leads are electrically connected to a respective one of the plurality of conductive input/output pads. At normal operating voltages, the voltage variable material is non-conductive. However, in response to an EOS transient, the voltage variable material switches to a low resistance state, providing a conductive path between the conductive guard rail and the input/output pads.

摘要： A prosthetic cement spacer for controlling the thickness of cement applied between a prosthetic insert and a support member, such as an acetabulum, includes a generally cylindrical standoff body portion fabricated from acrylic bone cement and a pointed wire concentric with said standoff body and outwardly extending from one end a sufficient length to anchor into the acetabulum bone surface. The method of use of these prosthetic cement spacers involves preparation of the acetabulum so that there is sufficient clearance space for the prosthetic cement spacers and then to insert the pointed wires into the acetabulum bone surface in an equilateral triangular arrangement thereby providing three points of contact for the prosthetic insert, such as an acetabular cup. By selecting three prosthetic cement spacers all having substantially the same standoff body height, the clearance region between the acetabulum bone surface and the acetabular cup is controlled and provides a uniform cement thickness throughout thereby providing an improved bonding arrangement.

The processor determines weights for the paths based on the flow rates. The processor assigns pipelines for the paths and creates groups of pipelines based on the weights. The groups may be assigned to a schedule.

摘要： Computer-implemented systems and methods for processing image data of a process-free plate are provided according to the present disclosure. The systems and methods may, generally, include a data acquisition step/means for receiving image data using one or more channels of a imaging system, each channel functioning to image the same target region of a process-free plate using a different wavelength of light, and a data processing step/means for filtering the image data using at least one of: (i) self-filtering, (ii) Fourier shrinkage and (iii) Wavelet shrinkage. When the image data is received using a plurality of channels, the received image data may advantageously be combined so as to optimize contrast-to-noise performance. The disclosed systems and methods may advantageously perform the operations of image de-noising, contrast enhancement, and thresholding, and may further involve compensation techniques, e.g., for minimizing distortion and blurring effects.
