摘要： A method for converting between relatively close field rates of perhaps 60 Hz and 59.94 Hz, monitors the phase difference between input and output field rates. Initially, output fields are created by synchronizing input fields. As the measured phase passes a threshold, the method switches to interpolation mode for a short, fixed interval and then returns to synchronization. The method offers much of the sharpness associated with simple synchronization but avoids the visible discontinuities of field drops or repeats.

The device can includes a valve member that regulates fluid flow through the flow control device, a frame coupled to the valve member, and a membrane attached to the frame. At least a portion of the flow control device forms a seal with the interior wall of the bronchial passageway when the flow control device is implanted in the bronchial passageway. The membrane forms a fluid pathway from the seal into the valve member to direct fluid flowing through the bronchial passageway into the valve member.

摘要： An infrastructure that allows applications to run with specified versions of dependent assemblies, wherein each assembly may exist and run side-by-side on the system with other versions of the same assembly being used by other applications. An application provides a manifest to specify any desired assembly versions on which it is dependent. Similarly, each assembly may have an assembly manifest that specifies the versions of assemblies on which it is dependent. During an initialization phase, an activation context is created for the application, based on the manifests, to map version independent names to a particular assembly version maintained on the system. While the application is in a running phase, for any globally named object that the application wants created, the activation context is accessed to locate the application's or assembly's manifest-specified version. The manifests and activation context constructed therefrom thus isolate an application from assembly version changes.
