摘要： A braided stent having an integral retrieval and/or repositioning loop includes a plurality of wires having first and second ends interbraided in a braided pattern to form a tubular stent having opposed atraumatic first and second open ends with each open end having a circumference; wherein said first and second wires ends are disposed at said second stent open end and said wires are looped at said second stent open end so that none of the first or second wires ends are exposed at the circumference of second stent open end; wherein at least of two of said wires are formed into a repositioning and/or retrieval loop having an elongated portion circumferentially disposed at said first opposed open end; and wherein said reposition and/or retrieval loop comprises two sections which run adjacent to each other prior to crossing to permit grabbing of both sections simultaneously by a practitioner.

摘要： A magnetic excavation marker is described below that includes a magnet and a stiff, resilient and brightly colored visual indicator. The marker is used by placing the marker onto an object to be protected, such as a manhole cover or valve. The magnet attaches the marker to the protected object with magnetic force. The marker will then protect the object by providing a highly visible indication of the presence of the object, even if the object is buried. The stiff and resilient qualities of the visual indicator ensure that it will remain upright and visible, even after it has been stepped on or run over. A handle is attached to the magnet or to a housing holding the magnet. The handle gives a user added leverage to aid in overcoming the force of the magnet when the user desires to remove the maker from the protected object.

摘要： A modular automated assistive guitar is described comprising a base assembly, a pick assembly, a strumming mechanism and a fretting mechanism which, in combination with a standard guitar or similar stringed musical instrument (e.g., banjo, steel guitar, ukulele), forms a musical device that can be played by an individual with a range of independence, cognitive and physical abilities. The base assembly accepts, positions, and secures a standard guitar. The pick assembly includes quick attach and spring-loaded features for attaching and detaching picks, in addition to flexibility for smooth interaction with the guitar strings. The strumming mechanism provides cyclic motion and speed control to create pleasant and variable rhythm from the mounted guitar. The fretting mechanism allows a user to change chords and tone. An unmodified, traditional guitar is preferably used in the musical device. The guitar is easily interchangeable with another guitar or other stringed instrument, at the convenience of the user. The modular automated assistive musical device, with or without the guitar, is compact, light, portable, and easily adjustable to different individual's needs, motor skills, and dexterity.

摘要： An apparatus and methods for a rotor pack are provided for a positive displacement supercharger that produces greater engine power output without loss of best seal between the rotors or between the rotors and an interior surface of an enclosing case. The rotors include relief zones and cupped portions at an intake airflow side of each lobe comprising the rotors. The relief zones allow additional airflow to enter the rotor pack while the cupped portions scoop additional airflow into the rotor pack during operation of the supercharger. Tapered radius portions of an enclosing case allow additional airflow to be dragged into the rotor pack. Pressure relief portions on a rotor bearing plate and angled portions on each lobe extend compression events during operation of the rotor pack. The angled portions reduce a margin of the lobes to sharpened edges without affecting the diameter of the margin.
