摘要： A cracking furnace for thermal cracking of hydrocarbon feedstocks has a central burner provided vertically at the center of the ceiling of a combustion chamber, side burners provided vertically at both sides of the central burner, and reaction tubes vertically arranged between the central burner and resepctive side burners. The reaction tubes are arranged in rows along the longitudinal direction of the chamber and form arch bands at the lower part of the combustion chamber. A combustion gas-inducting duct is provided at the bottom of the chamber, a quenching heat exchanger is provided at the upper part of the chamber, and a reaction tube exit header is provided for connecting a plurality of exits of the reaction tubes to the quenching heat exchanger.

摘要： In a process for thermally cracking a low-quality feed stock containing a considerable proportion of heavy fractions such as high-boiling fractions, and evaporation residual oil, and a system used therefor, in which the low-quality feed stock is withdrawn from the preheater of the thermal cracking furnace to separate and remove a required proportion of said heavy fractions and thereafter returned to subject the feed stock to further preheating and thermal cracking. The low-quality feed stock thermally cracked has a predetermined proportion of the heavy fractions removed, and coking in the thermal cracking system at various lines is avoided from occurring.

摘要： A process for removing environmental contaminants from an exhaust gas by a semidry method through contact with an absorbent slurry containing alkaline compounds in a reactor, comprising the steps of adding a material containing calcium sulfate and/or calcium sulfite, a material containing aluminum oxide, and a material containing silicon dioxide to a material capable of supplying calcium oxide, mixing the mixture with water, curing the whole mixture in hot water, and then introducing and dispersing the resulting absorbent slurry in the reactor for contact with the environmental contaminants. In a modification the absorbent slurry is obtained by adding a material capable of supplying aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide, and calcium sulfate and/or calcium sulfite to a material capable of supplying calcium oxide, calcining the mixture at 750.degree.-950.degree. C., mixing the calcined product with water, and curing the mixture in hot water. To the absorbent slurry obtained in either way is added a soluble compound that elevates the boiling point of water.
