    • A voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) comprising an odd number of delay stage circuits. Each delay stage circuit operates between supply voltages VDD and VSS (VDD>VSS) and comprises (1) an input node, (2) an output node, (3) an inverting circuit, and (4) an electric discharge path coupling the output node to VSS. The electric discharge path includes a switch circuit and a resistance adjusting circuit electrically coupled in series between the output node and VSS. In response to an input signal rising at the input node, the inverting circuit decreases an output signal at the output node, and the electric discharge path opens to help pull the output signal down faster. In response to an input signal falling at the input node, the inverting circuit increases the output signal at the output node, and the electric discharge path closes to minimize its own effect.

    • A fluid coupling capable of indicating proper tightening includes a fitting body having a flared end with a back side. The fitting body also includes an indicator spaced a predetermined distance away from the back side. A threaded nut is positioned around the fitting body adjacent the flared end and includes a back end and a shoulder portion spaced away a predetermined distance therefrom. The shoulder portion is concentrically aligned with the back side of the flared end. The fluid fitting also includes a belleville washer(s) positioned around the fitting body adjacent the back side of the flared end, which is (are) compressed upon threading and torquing of the nut onto the threaded end of a male fitting. When a predetermined amount of torque has been applied to the nut, the indicator is visible adjacent the back end of the nut.

    • A locking tubing system includes a length of tubing lying in any geometric complexity including a substantially straight line and a first fitting body having a securing member rotationally locked thereto. The first fitting body is affixed to one end of the length of tubing. The system also includes a first nut having a plurality of openings in cooperative relation to engage the securing member, a second fitting body having a securing member rotationally locked thereto, the second fitting body is affixed to the other end of the length of tubing and a second nut having a plurality of openings in cooperative relation to engage the securing member. The first nut and the second nut are threaded onto corresponding mated fittings, each securing member being engaged with at least one of the openings of the respective nuts thereby locking each of the nuts to the respective fitting body.

    • A angular interlocking floor tile is provided with a generally flat top surface, a parallel bottom surface, wherein the tile includes two elongated sides which converge to a point or short inner side at one end and which sides diverge at an internal angle of less than 90.degree. to be joined at their other ends by a beveled outer edge surface. The elongated sides are formed with a plurality of female cavities located adjacent to each of the sides. Each of the female cavities is positioned to mate with a corresponding male connecting member of a neighboring tile of a runner mat whereby the runner mat is able to make variety of turns. Alternatively, each of the elongated sides may be formed with an additional integral interlocking strip having male connecting members which may be used to mate with a corresponding female cavities of a neighboring tile. When the interlocking strip is not needed it may be removed.

    • An interfacing floor tile in the form a right triangle with two adjacent sides of equal length is provided with elongated third side opposite the right triangle. Each side is formed with a row of female cavities located adjacent the sides and positioned to mate with a corresponding male connecting members of a neighboring tiles. Additionally, each of the adjacent sides is integrally formed with an edge which slopes downward to a male interlocking strip which extends outwardly in order to mate with female cavities of neighboring tiles. Alternatively, each of the adjacent sides may be formed with vertical edges which rise from the interlocking strip to the surface of the tile. In another embodiment the female cavities are omitted from the elongated side which has a vertical edge and the adjacent sides may have either sloping or vertical edges.
