摘要： In an automatic lock slider for a concealed slide fastener, a fastener-element guide post of a slider body has an upper groove receiving a locking lever and a lower groove slidably receiving a sliding end of a pivoting release member. A spring mounted in the guide post acts on an actuating arm of the locking lever to urge a locking pawl of the locking lever to normally project into a fastener-element guide channel of the slider body. An ornamental knob attached to the pivoting release member covers exposed part of the slider body. As the knob is pulled to pivotally move the release member, the locking pawl is retracted from the guide channel.

摘要： In a molded surface fastener (10) having engaging elements (2) of minute dimension of thermoplastic resin molded together with a base member (1) by continuous molding, each engaging element (2) comprises first and second engaging portions (22a, 22b) each having a different configuration extending in parallel to a surface of the base member from a top end of a pillar portion (21) rising from the base member (1) such that they intersect at right angle. The second engaging head (22b) has an ordinary hook shape structure while the first engaging head (22a) has a wing-like thin plate structure as seen in a plan view. The engaging elements having such a structure in which each engaging element has appropriate engagement force, shearing force and separation force so as to keep an excellent tactile feeling of a surface of the surface fastener, prevents itself from falling down against a pressing force, secures a high engagement ratio with mating pile pieces and satisfies a durability.

摘要： The present invention provides a fastener strip having magnetically attractable particles which are not located across the entire volume of the strip, but rather are incorporated in a discrete, distinct area of the strip. The fastener strip has a base and many hook pieces which rise from a fastening surface of the base. One embodiment has a magnetically attractable body in a row which rises from the surface of the base and is located along a substantially center line of the fastener strip. The magnetically attractable particles are incorporated in the magnetically attractable body and a part of the base located below the magnetically attractable body, and the magnetically attractable particles are not dispersed across the whole area of the base. A method of manufacturing such a strip is also described here.

摘要： This invention provides a surface fastener of thermoplastic resin comprising, as integrally molded members thereof, a flat substrate and rows of large number of hooks standing from the substrate as engaging members and arranged continuously. The hooks of the surface fastener according to the invention hardly collapse, even if they are very small, and reliably come into engagement with mating loops of a matching surface fastener to provide a satisfactory engaging and peeling strength and a high ratio of engagement. The surface fastener according to the invention can endure repetitive engaging and disengaging operations. Each of the engaging elements has a stem, two or more than two necks extending radially in different directions from the stem and engaging heads substantially linearly extending from the stems in the different directions by way of the respective necks and each of the engaging heads has a cut-out formed at the remote end thereof transversally relative to the extending direction of the engaging head. Additionally, the top of the engaging head is substantially flat and the engaging head is tapered toward the front end thereof.
