摘要： In a molten metal plating apparatus all surfaces of a sinking roller and a supporting roller to be in contact with a molten metal are coated with iron silicide films. A bearing comprises a holder made of a heat resistant steel and lined with a carbon-carbon fiber complex material. A surface of the holder is coated with an Fe3Si film similar to the sinking roller. There is an Fe3Si film on a surface of a shaft portion, and the Fe3Si is in contact with and slides on the carbon-carbon fiber complex material.

摘要： The surface of a member formed of at least one kind of ceramics, metals and C/C composites, is covered with an outermost surface oxide covering layer having a stability against the environment in the atmospheric air at 1500.degree. C.; and a self-recoverable layer as an intermediate layer formed between the outermost surface oxide covering layer and the surface of the member. The self-recoverable layer has an oxidizing rate greater than that of the outermost surface covering layer for recovering cracks generated on the outermost surface covering layer, and a compound produced by the self-recoverable layer has the same phase as in the outermost surface covering layer. To achieve the optimum self-recovering function at high temperatures, the outermost surface oxide covering layer may be made of a stable oxide having a vapor pressure of 1.times.10.sup.-4 /m.sup.2 or less in the atmospheric air at 1500.degree. C., and the oxidized product material from the self-recoverable layer contains an oxide having the same composition as that of the outermost surface oxide covering layer.

The disk cassette loading mechanism comprises a first operating member which engages a disk cassette inserted in the disk driving apparatus upon the arrival of the disk cassette at a predetermined position and remains engaging the disk cassette until the disk cassette becomes ready to be ejected, a second operating member which is turned resiliently in a cassette loading direction after the first operating member has engaged the disk cassette to load the disk cassette, and a third operating member which comes into engagement with the first operating means to turn the first operating member so that the first operating member is disengaged from the disk cassette when the disk cassette is moved to an ejecting position where the disk cassette is ready to be ejected without interfering with any mechanism of the disk driving apparatus by operating the sliding plate of the disk driving apparatus for cassette ejecting operation. Thus, the disk cassette loading mechanism prevents the accidental removal of the disk cassette from the disk driving apparatus.

摘要： A recording/reproducing device including a cam which permits a cartridge holder to descend and assume a loaded state, a lock for locking the cam so as to hold the cartridge holder in the lock state before loading, and a detector for detecting that a disc cartridge has been inserted up to a predetermined position in the cartridge holder. The locked state of the cam is released upon detection of proper insertion of the cartridge, thereby allowing the cartridge holder to descend until it assumes the loaded state. Unless the disc cartridge is inserted in the predetermined position in the cartridge holder, the cartridge holder cannot assume the loaded state, thus permitting the recording/reproducing device to be used always in a normal condition.
